This story broke me in so many ways to write.
I remember finishing the manuscript.
It was 1:30 AM, I remember my birthday being eight days away, and I couldn't see myself having a better gift.
I was typing for 24 hours at a time, and my sleep schedule was nonexistent because the story would write itself.
Body be dammed, I was a vessel, I ate, drank, and breathed this book.
Arthur's struggle in this book gave me insight into being a loyal friend, the forever unchanging love he has, and the burdens he bears for that love.
Although I don't have a brother myself, I can't see anyone outranking Arthur Pendragon anyway.
