Colliding headfirst with the barrier, the bird monster shattered it to light particles due to the immense force it attacked with. Exploding into bloody pieces, Vox also wasn't safe. The forced dissipation of the barrier and in addition to the aforementioned force sent him flying like a ragdoll.
BANG!
The crash was hard and painful — right into one of the scrap cars.
"Fucking piece of feathers!" Vox cursed the dead bird, staggeringly getting back to his feet. The impact was hard and painful but then, he acquired not a single injury. Dusting his clothes, Vox glanced at the new notification from the panel.
[Would Player Soulless like to proceed or rest?]
Ignoring the request, he opened the Players Leaderboard. Behold, sitting at the first place was his name with forty-eight hundred points.

"Not too rusty, hehe!" Vox grinned heartily as he saw a family name on the Leaderboard — Spartan Nyx. She was a regular gaming partner of his with the spear as he weapon specialty. She wasn't someone who would easily give up and was sure she was grinding hard enough to catch up to him.
The second on the rankings, Blood Rose wasn't someone he was unfamiliar with. She was the guild master of Golden Fate Guild. A forever opponent of his.
"No rest for me it is then," Vox sighed deeply before his expression turned into resolution. "Proceed."
[Due to Player Soulless Quick Clearing Time, Player Soulless will now face a single Demibeast for the last Wave. The points from killing a three hundred Mortal Realm Level 3 Monster will equal that of a single Mortal Realm Level 3 Demibeast.]
"Are they looking down at me or what?" A deep frown appeared on Vox's face as he read.
[Wave will start in 3… 2…. 1...]
RUPTURE! BOOOOOMMM!
The ground beneath Vox cracked, startling the Player. Instantly activating DASH, he actually avoided the piercing from a broadsword. Glancing at his previous location, a three meter tall human-looking beast emerged.
Donned in heavy armor and wielding a one-meter wide blade, the bull-horned beast stared at Vox with contempt.
"You dare to challenge the great Kahn, you puny no-blood mortal? Hmph!" The bull-horned Demibeast named Kahn let out hot streams of air through its nose.
"All bark no bite is a great feature you possess for sure…" Vox spat in a mocking tone, further angering Kahn.
"YOU!!! DIIIIEEEEEEE!"
With rage clouding it mind, the three-meter tall Demibeast nimble spun its broadsword, a clear attempt to cleave Vox into two clean halves.
Not dulling his reflexes either, Vox performed a quick backflip, landing at the exact point where his other dagger was. In the snap of a finger, he burst out with speed, directly confronting the heavy-armoured Demibeast.
CLANK!
The impact of both weapon's clash sent Vox skidding a few meters backwards while Kahn kept on charging at him.
"That attack power…" Vox squinted his eyes, following Kahn's movement with great focus. "Below his arm…."
Having found the weak point in the physique of the huge Demibeast, Vox, instead of dashing again for a head-on attack, went round the beast, forcefully halting his charged attack.
That moment of slip up gave Soulless the perfect opportunity to utilize DASH.
"Use Dash!"
Like a rocket-propelled vehicle, he shot fiercely at the veins below the armpits of Kahn.
SLASH! SLASH!
About to accomplish the third cut, Kahn angrily spun, slapping Vox into a building with the broadsword. But still, the damage was already done. Kahn grunted in pain and fury while the perpetrator laid motionlessly in the pile of wall bricks.
With its main veins cut away, Kahn glanced at the motionless Vox.
"YOU FORCED ME INTO THIS!!! DIVINE OX BLOODLINE LOCK, SHATTE… PFFT!!!" Two familiar daggers plunged into the heart and throat of Kahn, forcing it to choke on its own blood. Eyes widened in shock and despair, "HOW!?"
Vox smiled with a pained expression. Who would receive such an attack and still laugh. Well, Vox was forcing himself to laugh.
After Kahn had sent him crashing into a decrepit wall, Vox felt his innards quake violently. He wanted to scream but the result of countless years of training kicked in. His brain began to process countless scenarios to kill the Demibeast once and for all.
Recollecting a certain Instant Skill of his, he activated Teleport, Burst and Dash at the same time. Materializing before the Kahn, he wasted no time in thrusting his daggers into both the heart and throat of the Demibeast, causing its transformation to hurt itself.
Stepping away from the dead Demibeast, Vox checked the Leaderboard again. While he was still battling Kahn, Blood Rose, Spartan Nyx and The Clown had surpassed him by a massive three thousand points. Upon reaping the life force of the Demibeast, his points rose by nine thousand, making the rest of the Players eat the dust.
"Huff!" Falling butt first to the ground, he realized how much he had killed and how much he had destroyed.

Closing his eyes, Vox fell into a sudden nap due to the exhaustion and pain. Meanwhile, the rest of the players were still fighting the third wave. Each of them was a master of their weapons.
Blood Rose used a Warhammer that turned every monster into blood paste. Spartan Nyx held both a long spear and a guardian shield. The Clown followed suit with decks of cards that either expanded into shields, traps, bombs, attacks and even summoning.

The constant notification sound from the panel woke Vox up. The little amount of time he had to nap was worth it. His body seemed to have regained a small amount of strength. Opening his eyes, he started reading the text before him.
Trying to open the Player Leaderboard, he failed countless times before giving up and sorting out his own gains.
