Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Don't Forget Who is the Dragon's Master

Aegon exited the dragon spirit state, rubbing his throbbing temples.

Even though his mental strength was growing day by day, he still couldn't maintain it for long.

Entering a dragon's consciousness required far more mental strength than ordinary creatures.

"Sunfyre won't be living in the Dragonpit anymore. Even if Sunfyre comes back, you're not allowed to lock him up," Aegon turned and said to the Dragon Guard.

Upon hearing this, the Dragon Guard's face immediately sank, and he actually blocked Aegon's path directly.

"Your Highness, this is against the rules. The Crownlands are not Dragonstone, and King's Landing is not Dragonmount.

Once Sunfyre gets hungry, he might hunt down commoners or even nobles!"

Aegon first waved for Aemond to come over, then faced the Dragon Guard.

"Kneel. I don't like looking up when I talk to people," Aegon suddenly said expressionlessly.

Aegon of course knew that a hungry dragon would eat anything, but Sunfyre was different from other Dragons; he could completely control Sunfyre.

But more importantly, this Dragon Guard seemed to have forgotten his place!

A mere guard, albeit a special one guarding Dragons, dared to speak to him in a scolding tone!

He could speak kindly and amiably to his subordinates.

But if this subordinate didn't know his place, Aegon didn't mind putting on the airs of a Prince.

The Dragon Guard's face grew even darker. He knew Aegon was warning him, giving him a show of force.

Seeing that the Dragon Guard made no move, Aegon sneered, "Perhaps I should ride Sunfyre to talk to you."

As Aegon spoke, Sunfyre, who cooperated perfectly with him, had already lowered his shoulder, his gaze coldly fixed on the Dragon Guard.

Ultimately, the Dragon Guard couldn't withstand the pressure and knelt on one knee before Aegon.

Aegon glanced indifferently at the Dragon Guard kneeling on one knee, reached out, picked up Aemond, and climbed onto the dragon's back.

"Don't forget who the master of the Dragon is just because you've guarded the gate for a few days. I will personally speak to the King about this matter."

Aegon's emotionless voice came from the dragon's back.

"Hiss!" Sunfyre suddenly turned his head and roared at the Dragon Guard.

Then, flapping his wings, he took off vertically from the ground, his figure slowly disappearing into the clouds.

It wasn't until Sunfyre's figure had completely disappeared that the Dragon Guard stood up, cautiously wiping the cold sweat from his forehead.

Just now, he almost thought he was going to die. Sunfyre's eyes were full of killing intent when he looked at him.

It seemed that as long as Aegon gave the order, Sunfyre would not hesitate to blast him to death with a single breath of dragonfire!

One must know, he was usually the one who fed Sunfyre, and yet, to his surprise, Sunfyre didn't have even a shred of affection for him!

Another Dragon Guard scoffed unceremoniously. He had reminded the other guard before not to forget his place.

They weren't the masters of the Dragons, but attendants and guards, yet the other guard simply wouldn't listen.

Now look, he's become a clown, being lectured like a grandson by a seven-year-old Prince!

What a joke!

Meanwhile, inside the Red Keep, Helena, who was playing with insects, suddenly froze.

"Beware the shadow above the clouds... beware the shadow above the clouds!"

Helena suddenly stood up, lifted her skirt, and hurried out of the Red Keep, climbing into the carriage specifically serving the royal family.

"Quick, go to the Dragonpit, hurry!"

"Ah? Ah, alright, Princess, please hold on tight."

The coachman was startled for a moment, then gave a command and immediately urged the carriage towards the Dragonpit.

At this moment, inside the Dragonpit.

Dreamfyre, who had been quiet, suddenly became agitated.

"Hiss!"

Dreamfyre let out a furious roar, clearly having sensed her mistress's emotions.

Her massive body violently broke free from the chains and charged directly towards the Dragonpit exit!

All the Dragon Guards inside the Dragonpit were startled by Dreamfyre.

The experienced older Dragon Guards immediately hid.

The young and inexperienced Dragon Guards, however, rushed desperately towards Dreamfyre.

"Quiet! Dreamfyre, quiet!"

But despite the young Dragon Guards' best efforts to soothe her, it had no effect whatsoever.

Fortunately, although the young Dragon Guards lacked experience, their movements were very agile, and they narrowly avoided Dreamfyre's stomping.

Coupled with the fact that Dreamfyre's attention was on Helena, she didn't breathe fire, so the young Dragon Guards all survived safely.

By the time Dreamfyre rushed out of the Dragonpit, the carriage carrying Helena had just arrived.

"Hiss!"

Dreamfyre immediately lowered herself, allowing Helena to climb on.

In the original story, Helena didn't tame Dreamfyre and become a dragonrider until she was 12.

And in the years since Aegon's transmigration, besides steadily improving himself, he had also been guiding Helena to try and control the power of the Dreamwalker!

In a dream, Helena unexpectedly established a mental connection with Dreamfyre.

This was a full eight years earlier than the time she tamed Dreamfyre in the original novel!

After Helena was seated securely, Dreamfyre began to run, then leaped up, chasing in the direction Aegon had left at the fastest speed!

As Helena rode Dreamfyre away, an older Dragon Guard immediately ordered:

"Quick, you few, go report to the King immediately!

Tell him Prince Aegon has flown to Dragonstone on a Dragon with Prince Aemond, and Princess Helena has ridden a Dragon to chase after them!"

The older Dragon Guard at this moment wanted to curse.

Back when Princess Rhaenyra rode a Dragon at the age of seven, they had to worry every time whether the Princess would return unharmed.

Now, look at this, one daring to ride a Dragon with another person at the age of seven.

The other is even more abstract.

Five years old!

Riding an eighty-year-old Dragon to an unknown destination!

If anything were to happen to Princess Helena, wouldn't the King hang them alive?
