(3rd PoV)
"Pakkun, get out."
"Be safe, Kakashi!"
Pakkun and the rest puffed away. They will not be really helpful against Orochimaru, but only get in the way.
Kakashi started by throwing a barrage of kunai and shuriken, which Orochimaru easily deflected with his own kunai.
But they were just distractions.
In the split second that Orochimaru's eyes were not on him, Kakashi formed a clone and had it go underground.
"Kukuku!"
Orochimaru jumped up just in time as hands came from below him with Rasengan.
'Shiden Sharp Spear!'
With a single handsign, Kakashi used his long range to pierce Orochimaru's heart. But it missed, and only hit his stomach.
And as Orochimaru landed, a hand came from below and grabbed his leg, transforming into lightning and shocking Orochimaru.
Kakashi's Shadow Clone had used Lightning Clone from below the ground.
Still, despite getting hit by two of Kakashi's attacks, Orochimaru wasn't much bothered.
He hasn't even started attacking yet. He was just testing Kakashi.
Taking advantage of Orochimaru's paralysis, Kakashi aimed at his heart with Shiden, but Orochimaru simply caught his hand and stared at him creepily.
"Kukuku! Not relying on Sharingan. New Lightning release jutsus... You have noticed that Sharingan on a non-Uchiha body is just a burden, right?
You seem to have grown a lot without relying on it, Kakashi-kun."
Orochimaru quite liked watching Kakashi's growth. It seemed to have stunted since his teammates' deaths, but it seems like Kakashi has now found a new reason to live.
He really liked his eyes.
"You want to kill someone huh?"
Kakashi flinched, but didn't answer. Just trying to free his hand from Orochimaru's grasp. Panting due to lack of chakra.
However talented Kakashi is, he is still a child. His body and chakra aren't capable of countering someone as dangerous as Orochimaru, especially without having the proficiency in genjutsu like Itachi.
"Then I will grant you power to achieve your goals, Kakashi-kun. You should be able to survive with your newfound will to live. Kukuku!"
Orochimaru extended his neck, and bit Kakashi's neck. A curse appeared in place briefly before Kakashi puffed away.
He was just a clone.
"Tsk."
Orochimaru looked around for signs of Kakashi, but it seems like he has abandoned the mission and run away.
He sighed and used basically medical ninjutsu to close his bleeding wound in his stomach. The long range ninjutsu actually caught him off-guard. He should have been taking Kakashi seriously, even though he is just a kid.
If he was some fraud like Danzo, his heart would have been pierced and he would have died.
And it seems to have affected his nervous system as well. Movement has become a lot harder.
"Kukuku... Till we meet again, Kakashi-kun."
With these words, Orochimaru left.

I sighed in relief as I got the memories of my Shadow Clones.
It's a good thing that I escaped.
Though Orochimaru didn't have any intention to kill me, he wanted to give me his Curse Mark.
Which could have been fatal. And even if I survived, the downsides will be too much compared to the advantages.
Even the small amount of cursed energy that I just got from my Shadow Clone took a toll on my body and mind. Thankfully, it was just a little and soon dissipated.
If I had gotten the cursed seal, the worst thing that will happen will be Orochimaru spying through it, and him getting a way to incapacitate me with simple handsigns. Killing him in the future will become a lot more difficult if that were to happen.
Thankfully, my goal was to survive from the start, not trying to complete this stupid mission.
I also didn't encounter Yamato, my other objective in the mission.
Well, killing Danzo later will do the job. But Yamato will suffer longer.
Anyway, this impossible mission failed, and some ANBU lost their lives uselessly. Just because Hiruzen is a wuss.
While I can understand Hiruzen, the huge amount of lives lost and that will be lost are on him.
Sigh... Let's just head back to the village and report failure.
