Synopsis
a young man who wakes up lost between fear and survival after a night that should have ended his life. Trapped in an unfamiliar world filled with danger, silence, and shadows, he encounters two strange companions: a wolf, fierce and watchful, and a sheep, fragile yet persistent. As they travel together, the wolf represents strength, instinct, and the will to survive, while the sheep reflects innocence, fear, and hope. Caught between them, the protagonist struggles with his own inner conflict—whether to become hardened by pain or remain human despite the cruelty around him. Through dark nights, near-death encounters, and moments of quiet reflection, the journey becomes more than survival. It becomes a test of identity, choice, and what it truly means to live when the world demands you to be either a predator or prey.

Chapter 1 - Chapter I: The beginning

I was alone in the dark room, nowhere to go. No one knows what happened. I feel tired, hopeless, and I can't lift a single muscles. Then the wolf came from nowhere. He laughed and said:

Wolf: "You look terrible. Would you let yourself stay in that situation? Look at yourself john. If you just let me hold everything for now, you'd become strong, feared, and unbelievably tough."

I: "And what? Destroy everything like you did before? I won't let you take even a single life."

Wolf: "There's no reason to let them live. And now what?"

I was slowly fainting. My sight was getting blurry little by little, and as I remembered that day… there was a wolf in the dark staring at me. He laughed with his red glowing eyes. While on the other side, I saw a vast land full of flowers, fresh and cold air, and there was a sheep far away. It smiled at me, saying something I couldn't hear.

The wolf was still laughing as I was slowly swallowed by the darkness. His voice echoed into my consciousness:

"You're a weak man. A failure who can't even fight back. Fool."

And I completely passed out.

When I woke up, it was already morning, and I was in my room. It's Sunday, and everyone is going to church except me. I woke up and took a shower. While in the bathroom, I heard the voice again — it was clear, like memories from the past. But no… it was just a nightmare. I was still in doubt if it was real, but I continued what I was doing.

Then I saw the darkness behind me. In the reflection of the mirror, the wolf was there again, staring like he was ready to strike me. His eyes were red like a lion locked onto its prey; his fangs were sharp like knives. I never felt goosebumps before, but now I did — the strength gap between us, the intention to kill.

There was someone behind the wolf too. He was looking at me, but I couldn't see his face.

My body started burning like I was inside a stove. I punched the mirror, and it shattered into pieces. Suddenly the room went black, and rage and anger overflowed inside me. Dark red and black smoke wrapped around my body as my strength increased. The mug in my hand shattered as I squeezed it. The wall cracked as I punched it over and over, shouting in anger.

The wolf was nowhere to be found. Instead, I saw the man again. He had a long jacket, like an assassin — fast. I grabbed my t-shirt and a knife from the kitchen and chased him. I grabbed his back, but the lamb behind me made a sound.

When I looked back, the lamb smiled—an adorable smile—before it disappeared into the vast land again, happy like a child seeing his mother.

When I looked forward, everything was normal again. My friend opened the door and said:

Josh: "Bro, what's going on? You were shouting like a madman. Are you okay?"

I said nothing while trying to find the man, but he was gone.

I: "Bro… can I go to your place later?"

Josh: "Sure, no problem."

He was still curious.

Josh: "Come to my place when you need. I don't know what happened to you… keep safe, brother."

I: "Okay. Keep safe, bro."

Night fell. I was still thinking about what happened earlier. I thought it was just a nightmare — but no, it was real. The wall cracked because of my punch. And still, the question remained in my mind:

"What was that thing? Who was that man? And what was he doing here?"

I thought I needed a check-up next time. I went to Josh's place to stay and told him everything. He said:

Josh: "Bro, are you crazy? Look at your hand! You said you punched the mirror and shattered it, and cracked the wall. Who do you think you are? Superman? Nahhhh, hell nahhhh! You're just tired, bro. Have some rest sometimes. You're not even physically exhausted — you're mentally exhausted from all the problems you handled on your own."

I couldn't make a sound in front of him. While we drank, his father came and said:

Josh's father: "Son… there's a legend about the man who sees that wolf and the entity. He hanged himself at the entrance of the dark forest of the West."
