Season 2 - Chapter 2: Chaos in the Academy and Hidden Hearts
A new day began at the "New Stars" Academy. Anos and Akuto are now in the midst of a conflict that is nothing less than the wars their father fought 16 years ago.
A classroom full of chaos
Inside the History of the Universe lecture hall, Anos sat looking out the window. Anos (with his raw black hair and bright green eyes) was one of the smartest students, answering all the difficult questions, but in a very "crazy" and carefree manner.
Teacher: "Anos, how can you adjust the equation of time and space?"
Anos: (annoyed) "Just squeeze the energy center and scrunch it up like a soap bubble. It's not that hard."
The Master stiffened, for Anos was speaking of a tactic known only to the gods.
Next to him, Akuto was asleep and made the sound of snoring. Suddenly he woke up and shouted, "Fish! I want the fish!" The whole class burst out laughing. Akuto (with his dark brown hair and blue eyes) always seemed like a source of comedy, but when he looked at Anos, his eyes filled with seriousness.
Smoker and Humid's enmity
At the break, Smoker and Humid again blocked the way for Anos and Akuto.
Smoker: "Anos, don't think you're going to be king with those answers. You're still a farmer!"
Smoker directed a dense puff of smoke at Akuto. Akuto, who was very angry, changed his face. Those blue eyes suddenly glowed terribly.
Akuto: (in a low, creepy voice) "Smoker... If you bring that stinky smoke around me again, I'll make you cry from the choking."
Smoker panicked for a second, as he felt a large shadow (Sakuna) watching him from behind Akuto.
Sasha and Karina appear
At that moment, two girls of royal dignity appeared in the hallway:
Carina Garcia: A girl with brown eyes and mixed blonde hair. She was the daughter of a very powerful royal family, but she had a very kind heart. Karina had her heart racing for him ever since she met Anos, but kept it a secret. She quickly became Alyssa's close friend.
Sasha Gray: A blue-eyed girl with snow-white hair. She was regal, but very cold and quiet. He and Alyssa were together like two frozen poles, discussing the mysteries of the academy.
Karina went to Alyssa and whispered, "Your brother... Anos... is he always so careless?"
"He still doesn't know what he's carrying inside, Karina. But I'm glad you're here," Alyssa said with a hidden smile.
Back home and dreams
When the sun went down, Anos and Akuto returned to the village. Anos looked very tired. When he reached his room, he fell straight into bed and fell asleep.
In the dream:
Anos found himself in the middle of a burning universe. His father, Volt, was standing, but he wasn't wearing his farmer's dress. He wore black armor made of stars. Opposite him, stood Mortis (the Academy Master), but with a large black wing.
Mortis: "Volt! You can't hide your offspring! The 'code' inside them will corrupt the entire universe!"
"They're human! I won't let you touch them!" Volt said in a voice like lightning.
"Father!" cried Anos in the dream. But at that moment Volt looked back at Anos. Volt's eyes were a bright red, not the still ones that hunt chickens in the morning.
Anos woke up sweating. He looked at his hands, a faint purple glow shining through his veins for a second.
Anos: "This is not a dream... This is the past. Father... Who are you?"
End of Chapter:
Outside the house, Volt stood in the moonlight, looking up at the sky. Vanessa came to his side.
Vanessa: "He felt it, right?"
Volt: "Mortis is back. He knows Anos is the key. We have to be ready, Vanessa... Time to play chicken is almost over."
