Naomi Kenway glanced at Nathan Lynch. The boy's cheeks were flushed, and his face was covered in sweat from the heat. "Mona doesn't look well. You should buy him a bottle of water."
Nathan Lynch's throat was parched, and he was having trouble speaking. "Mommy, can I take my jacket off? It's so hot..."
Renee Jennings quickly pulled his jacket tighter. "Mona, there are bugs everywhere outside. What if you get bitten... Mommy doesn't have any insect repellent." After she spoke, she snuck a glance at Chelsea Raines. 'I knew I shouldn't have gotten involved,' she thought. 'I just wasted that precious repellent for nothing.'
"Mommy, I'm so thirsty..." Nathan Lynch's face was flushed red. "I can barely walk anymore."
"I always tell you to exercise more, why don't you listen? Mona, now you see, don't you? You have to listen to Mommy."
