Shen Weimin hated it when Old Yu brought this topic up. "Grandpa Yu, that's not right of you. We're doing great, so why do you keep mentioning these things?"
Old Yu rolled his eyes at Shen Weimin.
Hah!
'Still not accepting it, are you!'
Shen Weimin hadn't wanted to press the issue, but by now, Old Yu had brought it up three times. He shook his head with a humorless laugh. "If we go by what you're saying, she's supposed to pick one of your grandsons? If word of that gets out, it'll be impossible for anyone in our generation to get along."
Shen Weimin considered himself a very respectful man, but every dragon has a scale that can't be touched. He could usually brush off whatever the elders said, but he couldn't stand it when they repeatedly tried to play matchmaker for his fiancée.
It wasn't that he was worried she'd actually fall for someone else; the topic just rubbed him the wrong way. The more he thought about it, the less it seemed like a simple joke.
