Charlotte Young seemed to have anticipated this question. "Once I kill you, the elevator will ascend rapidly. I just need to get out on the third floor and take the stairs down."
Nora Ainsworth shook her head. "I have a feeling someone is trying to kill two birds with one stone. You might never get out of this elevator."
Charlotte Young didn't believe her. "Cut the crap, Nora Ainsworth. Honestly, you should be content. You captured the heart that I'd die for but could never have.
