"Dr. Shaw..."
Laura Lowell's words trailed off as her gaze met Aiden Shaw's gentle, handsome eyes. Her heart seemed to skip a beat.
"What did you just call me?"
The man's gaze was tender as he looked at the girl so close to him, one eyebrow raised slightly.
Laura Lowell bit her lip, her face flushing and heart racing as she lowered her gaze. "Um, Aiden... if we don't hold hands, we probably won't give ourselves away, right? This feels a little... strange."
"Strange? Isn't this how boyfriends and girlfriends are supposed to be? You'll get used to it."
'We're fake, fake, fake... What future is there to talk about?'
Laura Lowell complained silently in her head but didn't say anything more, letting the man lead her by the hand into the house.
"Young Master, Miss Lowell, you're back."
The housekeeper respectfully brought Aiden Shaw and Laura Lowell slippers to change into.
"Hello, Mr. Shaw, Mrs. Miller." Laura Lowell walked into the living room and greeted them with a smile.
