Chapter 1 - Reincarnation

Mikhail suddenly opened his eyes.

The first thing he noticed was the ceiling. It was cracked, yellowish, and definitely not the one he remembered staring at before going to sleep.

He rubbed his eyes wondering what is this?

"Wha—what the hell… did I get kidnapped?" he muttered, his voice hoarse.

He quickly sat up.

The room was tiny—ridiculously tiny. The whole place was barely larger than a bathroom. A narrow bed, a rusty metal table, a flickering lightbulb hanging from the ceiling, and a small window that barely let any sunlight in.

Mikhail rubbed his eyes and looked around again.

"This is… seriously what the fuck?," he said under his breath. "Even my best friend's place wasn't this poor."

He swung his legs off the bed and stood up.

"Really… what the hell?"

The air smelled strange, like someone died here. Making his stomach feel upset.

Just as he was about to go and lean on the window for some fresh air...

"Ah—!"

Mikhail grabbed his head and stumbled back onto the bed.

A flood of memories exploded inside his mind.

Images he had never lived through.

A different life.

A different Mikhail.

He saw a rundown apartment in New York, years of struggling to pay rent, cheap instant noodles for dinner, working exhausting part-time jobs just to survive. The memories were vivid, detailed, and painfully real.

It was as if another person's entire life had been stuffed directly into his brain.

Minutes passed before the pain slowly faded.

Mikhail breathed heavily.

"…So that's it."

He looked around the tiny room again.

"I didn't get kidnapped."

He swallowed.

"I got isekai'd."

The realization hit him like a truck.

"Now, wait I was struck by Truck!" Just then Mikhail remebered getting hit by Truck while walking on side walk.

While these new memories clearly belonged to the body he was now occupying. This version of Mikhail Suey was a poor young man barely surviving in a small apartment somewhere in New York City.

But something about those memories made his heart beat faster.

Because the world described in them wasn't normal.

Tony Stark and Stark Industries.

Spiderman number one admirer J. Jonah Jameson.

Mikhail slowly took his phone, searching on it wondering if he was just imagining it.

"No way…"

But now, such people and places actually existed here.

"This is that world?"

"This is really the Marvel world… now should I be happy or not?" Mikhail seriously considered it.

Just as the thought formed in his mind—

[Congratulations, Host, on fully understanding your situation.]

[The Supreme Traveler System has been activated.]

"Wow… now I even got the cheat too," Mikhail said with a small smile as he sat on the side of the bed.

"So, I died and got isekai'd into the Marvel Universe, and now I have a system. I guess I should be happy," he mumbled as he walked toward the window.

Looking outside at the busy street below, he sighed.

"…But I really need to change this place first."

"Okay, System, what is your function?" Mikhail asked, leaning against the window while holding his phone to his ear so that anyone looking at him wouldn't think he was crazy for talking to himself.

The blue screen in front of his eyes flickered slightly.

[Host, I can create Avatars that exist in different worlds.]

[These Avatars will grow and develop in those worlds and will feed their gains back to you.]

[You can also live through them while your main body fell unconsious here.]

[All abilities, skills, knowledge, and power gained by the Avatars can be easily obtained by the Host.]

Mikhail blinked slowly.

"…Wait."

His grip on the phone tightened.

"So you're saying… I can live in multiple worlds at the same time?"

[Yes, that is what I said.]

"Damn… cool," Mikhail said with a grin. "Okay then, let's begin Avatar creation."

[Avatar Creation Activated.]

[A perfect clone of your body has been created.]

[Please use the World Gacha Wheel to determine which world the Avatar will spawn in.]

Mikhail nodded and spun the wheel.

As it spun, he saw countless world names flashing across it—some familiar, some shocking.

One Piece.

Bleach.

Even some manhwa worlds like Overgeared and Solo Leveling.

"Honestly, if I get Overgeared, then damn… I hit the jackpot," Mikhail muttered.

After all, that world had plenty of powerful classes and skills he would love to have.

But of course, luck didn't go that far.

The wheel slowly stopped.

Cyberpunk 2077.

Mikhail tilted his head slightly.

"Hm… this isn't bad either," he nodded.

The system screen changed again.

[World Selected: Cyberpunk 2077]

[Now spin the Innate Ability Gacha to determine the Avatar's innate talent.]

Another wheel appeared in front of him.

[Bonus: Since the Host is creating an Avatar for the first time, the Host will receive three chances.]

[The Host may choose any three abilities obtained from the three spins.]

Mikhail's eyes lit up.

"…Now this is what I call a beginner bonus."

A new wheel appeared before him, glowing with dozens of strange symbols and names. Most of them sounded extremely technical.

"Alright… let's see what I get."

He reached out and spun the wheel.

The wheel spun rapidly before slowly coming to a stop.

[First Ability Obtained: Neural Interface Prodigy]

[Description: The Avatar possesses extraordinary compatibility with neural interfaces, cybernetic implants, and digital systems. Implant rejection rate reduced to near zero. Increased synchronization speed with cyberware.]

Mikhail raised an eyebrow.

"Oh… that's actually pretty good."

In a high-tech world full of implants and body modifications, having perfect compatibility with cyberware was practically a cheat.

"Okay, second spin."

The wheel spun again, flashing different abilities before stopping once more.

[Second Ability Obtained: Ghost Netrunner]

[Description: The Avatar possesses exceptional talent in hacking and digital infiltration. Increased processing speed, stealth within networks, and natural intuition when navigating data systems.]

Mikhail's grin widened.

"Alright… now that's awesome."

Even he knew that in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, netrunners—elite hackers who could invade networks and control systems—were some of the most dangerous people alive.

"Final spin. Let's see if I get something crazy."

He spun the wheel one last time.

The wheel slowed.

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

Then it stopped.

[Third Ability Obtained: Adaptive Cyber Body]

[Description: The Avatar's body can gradually adapt to installed cyberware. Performance increases over time, reducing system strain and allowing advanced upgrades beyond normal human limits.]
