Principal Aric looked at the screen in front of him , he was in the middle of an awakening ceremony of class 10A , he stood up from his chair and said to the student who was standing in front of the Skill spire machine ,
"So Nadim the name of your power is Size manipulation, it says here that you can control and change the size of yourself and later when your power gets evolved you can do the same with objects but mainly your power works better for your own body"
Everyone heard this and simoultaneously remembered a superhero from a comic book from their childhoods .
Principal Aric added " Also the potential here says is B+ , and your power type is neutral meaning it can be used for both defense and offense "
Hearing about his potential which was only B+ compared to Adiran whom was S+ , Nadim felt a little sad and envious, it could be clearly seen on his face .
Sensing his emotional state Principal Aric tried to encourage him ,
"Nadim understand this , your powers can always be evolved and upgraded, as I already said powers can always be upgraded two or three levels more than the potential it says , now ..now the higher the potential the harder it is to upgrade it , also explore your power to get to know it better instead of being sad about it , now next roll number three"
Hearing these words from one of the strongest man of the nation , Nadim felt a little happy but still he didn't raise his hopes high"
Roll number three was a chubby guy named Aaron Manas,he had short yellow hair with dark blue eyes, he was one of the good students of class , he had a very outgoing personality and liked to be the centre of attention, Aaron stepped forward put his hands on the screen the white outlines of hands on the screen adjusted to his size and the whole process of scanning repeated.
Principal Aric looked at the screen with focus and then explained Aaron's power ,
"Aaron the name of your ability is Super shield , it's a defensive type power obviously you can use it for anything but yeah it's mainly for defense, your power's potential rank also A+ , the more your power evolves the more your shield becomes stronger and maybe one day indestructible who knows"
Aaron listened to the explanation very carefully and was satisfied with his ability,
"Now roll number four , guys do I have to call you one by one , come on you are going to be Heroes now , don't make me say your roll number again" Principal Aric shouted irritatedly
Everyone laughed at his annoyance, expect Adrian, Nadim and Aaron they were deep in thought about their powers.
Roll number four stepped forward, it was Evan Dutton a boy with semi long black hair that reached his shoulders and had light brown eyes , puberty was hitting him hard covering his face with a little beard , he was one of the few guys in class with beard , his grades were below average , but he was gifted physically as he always got first place in sports competitons and one could see his nice physique under the uniform shirt he was wearing .
Evan went to the machine and the whole process repeated ,Principal Aric came forward and explained his powers
" Guys we have our first Elemental power , congratulation Evan your ability is Earth Element control , it's a neutral power and the potential is S+"
Hearing this a wide smiled appeared on Evan's face and it looked he was more than satisfied with his ability,
Just like this the process continued....
Roll number five Artic Ross ,an introverted guy who barely talked to anyone he grades were mostly average and he had black hair and green eyes , his physique was very bad , he had a skinny fat physique meaning skinny arms and all the fat concentrated on the stomach and thigs .
"Artic your ability is Eternal void , basically your power is all defensive nobody can touch you , but unlike Aaron's power you cannot control the shield it's already covering your whole body , the potential is A+"
Again Everybody listening to the explanation thought of a fictional character they read about somewhere ,
Roll number six was a very funky guy , his name was Ayden Kotwell , Ayden was not bad in studies but he always tried to be the class clown , always making jokes and doing weird stuff in class , becuse of this nobody took him seriously, at the moment too his hair was cut very weirdly it was mix of red and black Mohawk but the side hair were not cut , he had yellow eyes and seemed excited for his powers .
"Ayden your power is called Elastic extension you can stretch your limbs and can change the shape of your body basically control your body really well , it's a neutral power and the potential is B+"
Then next roll number
Roll number seven was a guy named Faith Valen , he was a tall guy and wore glasses , his glasses didn't help him in his studies as he was not considered a bright student but his glasses did enhance his facial features which were already elite , he was always considered good looking in the class and had jet black styled hair and light blue eyes .
" Faith your ability is the most simple one till now it's teleportation, the range right now is only 2 meter but it will increase as your power evolves, it's a neutral power and the potential is C+"
Hearing about his power which was only ranked C+ , Faith was not too happy about it but still it wasn't the end of the world .
Next was Roll number eight a white haired girl named Delilah Stone , she was quite average in studies and sports and always said what she wanted to say to the face , her personality was quite rebellious but also kind .
After the completion of the process , Principal Aric explained her power
"Delilah your ability is also very simple it's Object mimicry basically Camouflage, you can change colors hehe , it's a neutral power too and the potential is B+"
After Delilah was another girl named Halena Kane roll number nine , completely opposite to Delilah , Halena had dark hair and her personality was very gentle , she was very good in studies and liked to draw .
She also completed the whole scanning process and her power was then explained ,
"So Halena your ability is Nature's regrowth, it's a defensive power sub category healing and the potential is A+"
After nine was roll number ten another girl named Kailah herment , she was a very introverted girl with a dark complexion and had a little chubby appearance, she was also very kind .
"Hmm Kailah your ability is Venom Haze , it's an first attacking power , you can use it for defense too but it's an attacking ability, the potential is B+"
After her was roll number eleven Leona Sterling, a very skinny girl who looked liked she ate only one meal a day , her personality was very chill and her hair just like her were also very thin and grey and her eyes were black eyes .
"So leonaaa... I am so tired you know guys , so your ability name is Light form it's an neutral ability and the potential is C+"
Then came roll number twelve Melina Star , she was the topper of class , always good in studies and getting full marks on tests and assignments , her personality was a little timid and shy but she talked to everyone in class or vice versa because after all she was a topper , she was also skinny probably from all the studies and had a dark complexion with black hair and brown eyes .
"So Melina your ability is Cerebral overdrive related to brain, it's a neutral power but obviously you can use it for anything and the potential is A+"
After Melina was a guy named Umarion Butt , he was the most talkative and extroverted guy of glass probably of school too , using his charms and his height which was around six feet he talked to a lot of girls but still he was one of the kind ones and was always ready to help , he had brown hair and and golden eyes .
"Hmm Umarion your ability is called hmmmmm Radian Ray and it's the class's second attacking power and the potential is S+"
Hearing his power potential rank was S+ , Umarion felt happy but unlike others he didn't hesitate and expressed his happiness openly
Umarion : "Yessss ooohoooo"
As everyone saw this they all felt happy for their friend too , it was a basic fact that higher ranked powers are more rarer , everyone couldn't get them but it never meant even for a moment that they were hopeless or inferior, it only meant that those who got these powers will have a nice start but they too have to work hard .
Almost a hour had been passed since the power awakening ceremony started , those who were constantly standing in lines felt a little tired , some looked around , they all were so focused in the power awakening that they forgot to admire the beauty of the place in which they were .
The back garden of SEED, the flowers on the edges of the garden glowed radiantly and the fountain's gentle sound calmed the environment , students who were still in line looked at the blue fountains and saw the process of water going up and down, how the water was pushed up probably through a motor or something and then it went down due to gravity , how beautiful .
