Chapter 156 -  Chapter 156 Hun Changqing and Yun Yun

"Master, what about me? What about me?!"

Seeing that Hun Changqing had stopped talking after Medusa went into seclusion, Zi Yan panicked, thinking he had forgotten about her, and hurriedly cried out.

Hun Changqing glanced at Zi Yan, grabbed her black robe which was swaying incessantly, and pulled it away, saying irritably,

"I gave you so many pills before, don't tell me you've already used them all. Focus on your cultivation these next few days. Once you break through to Dou Huang, you won't be short of pills."

  "Oh~"

Zi Yan's head drooped instantly upon hearing this. Although she still had enough pills, collecting treasures was in the nature of the dragon race. Hearing that she wouldn't get any, Zi Yan felt completely drained. She weakly replied to Hun Changqing and dejectedly walked to another room.

Seeing Zi Yan's immediate reaction of looking like her master had died upon discovering there were no pills, Hun Changqing's forehead veins bulged. Suppressing the urge to punch her, he composed himself, stepped outside, and transformed into a streak of light, soaring gracefully towards the outside of Canaan Academy.

His momentary hesitation upon entering was due to Hai Bodong's message, indicating his location in the town outside Canaan Academy and sending Hun Changqing an address—the implication being clear.

Therefore, Hun Changqing quickly sent Medusa away, making her obediently cultivate. Medusa's evolution was still a long way off; the materials needed for it wouldn't appear until the Central Continent's spatial auction several years later. Hun Changqing had merely given Medusa a goal, preventing him from being constantly watched.

Soon, Hun Changqing arrived at the town outside Canaan Academy. Traces of blood, not yet dried, still flowed in the streets, and layers of frost covered the area, faintly emanating the aura of a Dou Zong expert. Clearly, Hai Bodong had encountered some fools here.

Hun Changqing slowly traversed the frost-covered streets and arrived at a magnificent pavilion, the very location Hai Bodong had marked. It was unrealistic for Hai Bodong to have acquired such a beautiful pavilion in such a short time; its origins were obviously questionable. However, Hun Changqing didn't care. He

pushed open the pavilion's door and entered, slowly ascending the steps with a series of "tap, tap, tap" sounds. Hai

Bodong, who had been sitting cross-legged on the floor with his eyes closed, instantly opened them. He knew Hun Changqing had arrived.

Kneeling on a luxurious bed, Yun Yun, her face filled with a tragic beauty, heard footsteps approaching from the stairs below. Even though she had mentally prepared herself, the prospect of facing them still overwhelmed her, leaving her feeling utterly helpless. Despair filled her beautiful eyes.

With each step louder, her despair deepened, as if the footsteps represented the abyss of hell, slowly closing in on her.

  "Click,"

a light sound of a door opening rang out. The bamboo door to the room was gently pushed open, and a chilling, malevolent aura rushed towards Yun Yun, making her feel instantly cold, as if she had fallen into an abyss, and struggling to breathe.

  "Hehehe..."

Hun Changqing entered and immediately noticed Yun Yun kneeling on the bed. Seeing her desperate, tragic figure, he involuntarily let out a hoarse, eerie laugh, instantly lowering the temperature in the room to its lowest point.     Yun Yun stared blankly at Hun Changqing, his entire body shrouded in black, radiating an evil aura, and emitting a hoarse laugh like that of a wicked old man. She knew the abyss had descended upon her, about to drag her into an abyss of no return.

The thought of the sinister and malicious face hidden beneath the black robe, his contorted features, sunken cheeks and eye sockets, loose skin, black lips, and emaciated frame—a picture of debauchery—and the things he was about to do to her, filled Yun Yun with nausea and a urge to vomit.

In an instant, two streams of hot tears flowed from her beautiful yet dim eyes, streaming down her delicate, fair face.

Yun Yun's delicate body trembled violently. She bit her bright red lips tightly, unconsciously using too much force, until they bled. A streak of crimson blood slid down her cheeks, mingling with hot, glistening tears, flowing down her smooth, white neck.

  "Huh?"

Hun Changqing suddenly noticed that not only was Yun Yun's cultivation completely sealed, but her body also lacked any strength. He pointed at Yun Yun and turned to Hai Bodong, asking,

"What happened to her? Did you do this?"

Hun Changqing was curious. Logically, Hai Bodong shouldn't have needed to be so cautious. Sealing her cultivation was one thing, but sealing her physical strength completely, leaving her with absolutely no power.

"Uh..." Hai Bodong's expression was somewhat awkward. After hesitating for a moment, he said, "Her cultivation and physical body were sealed by her opponent using a strange energy. I thought it was better to avoid trouble, so I didn't remove the seal and brought her here directly."

Upon hearing Hai Bodong's words, Hun Changqing's gaze towards him instantly became strange, filled with suspicion, as if saying, "

Could you be any more useless? Two Dou Huangs could seal her right in front of you?

" Hai Bodong felt uncomfortable under Hun Changqing's gaze. He naturally understood Hun Changqing's meaning and knew that Hun Changqing had misunderstood, so he braced himself and explained,

"Sir, she was already sealed when I arrived."

Hun Changqing was taken aback upon hearing this and asked hesitantly, "The location I sensed at the time was only about a thousand miles away, right? At your speed, you should have been able to arrive in the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, right?"

Hai Bodong nodded helplessly, his lips twitching slightly as he spoke.

"Yes, sir, I went at full speed and arrived in less than the time it takes for an incense stick to burn. But by the time I got there, she had already been sealed away. If I had been any slower… I never imagined that Sect Master Yun Yun, under the combined attack of two Dou Huangs whose cultivation levels were lower than hers, couldn't even last an incense stick's time. Please punish me, sir!"

Hun Changqing's lips twitched violently after hearing Hai Bodong's words, and his eyes were filled with suspicion as he looked at Yun Yun. Was this Sect Master of the Yunlan Sect really that weak?
