Yun Zhan turned sharply, his jaw tight and eyes cold, wordless as he strode away into the night—no expression, no farewell.

"She's safe," Wei Xie replied calmly. "In Gu Clan. Don't worry."
Wei Xie glanced toward Wang San, nodding firmly. "Let's go meet her."
