Rohan yanks Aryan aside and pulls him into hiding behind a wall.
"What do we do now?" Aryan whispers.
"We run. Right now," Rohan says.
Just then, the monster smashes the spot where they were hiding with one massive tentacle, turning it into rubble.
"This thing isn't letting us get away," Aryan says. "If we're going to die anyway, why not at least land one punch on it first?"
Rohan lets out a nervous laugh. "Look at how tiny we are compared to that thing. It'll kill us and then use our bones as toothpicks!"
Just then, the monster lashes out again. This time the blow lands squarely on Aryan and Rohan. In a single strike, both are flung back, teetering on the edge of death.
With a faint, trembling voice, Rohan whispers, "Am I really going to die… without ever telling Meena that I love her?"
Aryan's eyes widen in shock. He yells, "What did you just say?!"
Just then, Aryan's eyes flick upward to the sky. A single star is blazing brighter than the rest.
"Rohan, look! Something's glowing up there!"
Rohan coughs weakly. "We're about to die, and you're showing me a shiny star?"
"Focus, damn it!" Aryan insists.
Rohan squints. A streak of light is hurtling straight toward them at blinding speed.
BOOM!
A devastating blast slams into, hitting the monster square on its head. When the smoke clears, Aryan's jaw drops.
Standing there, fists still smoking, is his elder brother—Aditya.
"Aditya… you?" Aryan blurts out in disbelief.
Aditya stands there in a simple shirt and trousers, his shoulder-length hair swaying in the wind. Just then, his phone rings. He picks it up and says coolly, "Monster eliminated."
He strides over to Aryan and asks, "You okay, little bro?"
"I'm fine," Aryan replies. "But Rohan's in bad shape. We need to get him to a hospital, now."
"Come home once you're done," Aditya says. "I need to talk to you. It's urgent."
"Okay," Aryan agrees.
He slings the barely conscious Rohan over his shoulder and hurries off. Aditya vanishes down another street.
Hospital.
The doctor looks at Aryan and says, "Your friend was badly hurt. The treatment will cost five thousand rupees."
Aryan quickly settles the bill through his phone. He then walks over to Rohan's bed and asks, "You feeling okay now?"
Rohan grins weakly. "Thanks to the doctor's healing magic, I'm perfectly fine. I can go home."
Scene shifts to Aditya.
He reaches the house and knocks. Meena opens the door, expecting Aryan. The moment she sees Aditya, her face lights up and she squeals with joy, "Aditya! You're back!"
"Where's Grandma?" Aditya asks.
"In her room," Meena replies.
Aditya walks into Grandma's room. It's quiet and peaceful. Grandma is sitting on the bed in a white saree. The moment she sees him, she stands up slowly and says, "You've just come back from a big mission. Rest for a while, then we'll talk."
Just then Meena bursts in and asks excitedly, "Aditya, did you bring something for me from Kashmir?"
"I'm sorry, I couldn't bring anything for you from Kashmir," Aditya says. "But I do have a gift that will make you incredibly happy… and it'll greatly increase your chances of awakening."
Meena's eyes light up with excitement. "Tell me quick!"
"Let Aryan get here first," Aditya replies calmly. "I'll tell both of you together."
Scene shifts to Aryan.
Just then, Meena's call comes through.
"Are you coming home or not?!"
