Chapter 5 - chapter 5 A Being Beyond Worlds

Barely had Mr. Jonathan finished explaining the instructions when the students rushed toward the door. Kael, who had been observing the scene quietly, also made his way toward it.

As Kael stepped through the door, the world around him shifted instantly. He landed in a vast space filled with countless doors stretching endlessly into infinity.

He looked around and realized that all the other students had already chosen their doors. His gaze settled on the door before him. Without hesitation, he grasped the handle and stepped inside.

The moment Kael crossed the threshold, the door closed silently behind him, vanishing as if it had never existed.

The endless hall of doors disappeared, replaced by a quiet, enclosed chamber bathed in pale white light.

The space was neither large nor small. He looked around and saw a white sphere resting on a table.

Hm… so this is the Seed of the World Tree. One could say it certainly lives up to its reputation.

Even here, I can feel its aura.

Kael advanced step by step toward the origin sphere until he finally held it in his hand. The instant he touched it, Kael felt as though he were reliving the creation and destruction of the world from which this World Tree had originated.

A normal person would have died under such an overwhelming flood of information. But fortunately, Kael was a demigod—so something like this could not affect him.

But it could not be said that this flood of information had been useless to Kael. On the contrary—through it, he learned the true origin of the so-called World Tree.

They called it a World Tree, yet that was not its true name. If one were to give it a proper name, it would be the World Heart, for it is what stabilizes a world. That is also why the gods use it to create their own worlds—because it possesses the ability to resist erosion by the Void.

Moreover, it holds the potential to evolve into a Middle Thousand World.

And even beyond a MiddleThousandWorld, it should be understood that a world of the Middle Thousand Worlds rank in this reality was extraordinary.

If the information Kael had was correct, a Middle Thousand World would be equivalent to an infinite number of infinite multiverses.

The fact that the World Heart could evolve into a world of this rank was not only because it was born by the destructionof a world , but also because it had been subtly modified by the gods themselves.

Kael held it in his hands, and in an instant, he felt as though he were traversing an infinite number of dimensions across space and time before arriving .

in a boundless expanse—a space of pure nothingness, here .

There was no up or down, no horizon, no measure of distance no time and space and even lacking The very concept of existence.

Kael's voice echoed softly in the emptiness

So this is the infinite void where i will begin creating my world.

He looked at the World Heart floating before him, its pale light casting a faint glow across the limitless darkness .

I believe that now, having arrived at the final moment, it's time to think carefully—what kind of world should I create? I already have an idea in mind, but I don't know if it will work. I need to deduce a few more things.

Kael then assumed a meditative posture. He closed his eyes and began to carefully reason through his thoughts, analyzing, calculating, and weighing all possibilities before taking the first step into the creation of his world.

Kael sat cross-legged, his silver-gray eyes closed, though in the Void it hardly mattered—there was nothing to see, nothing to distract him. Only the World Heart hovered before him, pulsatingfaintly.

While Kael was lost in his deductions, he suddenly sensed something stir within his Sea of Consciousness.

The disturbance was extremely faint—so subtle that even most gods would have dismissed it as nothing more than a stray fluctuation of thought.

But Kael was not the kind of person who believed himself invincible, nor did he ever assume that nothing could go wrong.

So As a precaution, he condensed several Incarnations and released them in his sea of consciousness, sending them toward the direction from which he had sensed the fluctuation.

These Incarnations spread out like fire, each moving along a slightly different trajectory, sealing off every possible escape route. Within Kael's Sea of Consciousness, each one employing they own method to scan every layer of his spiritual domain.

Moments passed.

Then—

A subtle resistance emerged in a hiding corner of his Sea of Consciousness.

Kael sensed it immediately.

A faint smile formed on his lips as he spoke calmly,

"It seems you've finally decided to show yourself."

So With a single wave of his hand, Kael began to fuse all of his Incarnations who where scattered all around his sea of consciousness , into a giant hand formed entirely of spiritual power.

It hovered within Kael's Sea of Consciousness like the very hand of the Heavenly Dao, giving the impression that it could grasp or annihilate anything.

The giant hand surged forward without hesitation, moving directly toward the source of the fluctuation, as if nothing in the world could escape its grasp.

Layers of spiritual energy trembled, and ripples of spiritual power radiated outward, sweeping across the Sea of consciousness

From the corner where the fluctuation had originated, a shadow stirred, attempting to resist the giant hand.

Yet the giant hand continued to advance without the slightest pressure, as if the shadow's resistance were nothing more than the prick of a mosquito.

As such No matter how many tricks or evasive methods the shadow employed to avoid being captured by the giant hand, it would ultimately be seized—its fate sealed the moment Kael's will manifested.

Time passed like an arrow, and after a while, Kael's eyes shifted to the Incarnation beside him, holding in its hand the Primordial Mass.

Kael's lips curved into a faint, cold smile. "So this is what has been producing these fluctuations in my Sea of Consciousness."

With a single gesture of his hand , he reached out, to take the Primordial Mass directly from the hand of the Incarnation.

Then, with a single gesture, he made the Incarnation vanish, leaving only the mass hovering before him, radiating a unfathomable light.

He then lowered his gaze and said in a threatening voice,

"I know you are here , so don't waste my time and come out."

He then continued to stare at the mass of origin for a few moments before the figure,of a old man appeared and said,"Hello, Master. Kael's my name is Thalor Zenith and this a pleasure to meet you.

"Stop all this nonsense. I don't care about your name or your origin. The only thing I want to know is how you ended up in my Sea of Consciousness, and whether it was you who brought me into this world."

Seeing the cold look in Kael's eyes, Thalor trembled slightly before continuing,

"To answer the question,

Master Kael… yes, it was I who brought you into this world—though it was against my will."

"Against your will?" Kael asked coldly.

Thalor swallowed before speaking again. "You see, Master Kael, I never intended to bring you to a world as powerful as this one.

However, during my journey while bound to your spirit, we were suddenly caught in a spatial-temporal distortion that dragged us here."

His voice grew heavier.

"During that journey, I was forced to sacrifice a large portion of my origin and my physical form. In the end, only my core—my heart—remained.

"Hm… I see. So, in summary, you are the one responsible for my transmigration.

But because of an accident during the journey, you were forced to sacrifice the greater part of your origin, which in turn compelled you to take refuge within my Sea of Consciousness."

"Yes," Thalor replied quietly.

Kael's gaze remained fixed on Thalor, but deep down he was pondering what he should do with him. After much reflection, he decided on the following course of action which was to absorb Thalor.

He was far too dangerous and mysterious to be left alive.

Moreover, who knew if there weren't conspiracies surrounding his transmigration? After all, Thalor had explained that there had been an error during Kael's transmigration, but he hadn't explained why he wanted to transmigrate him in the first place.

And Kael was not naïve enough to believe that a being capable of traveling between worlds would ever allow him to transmigrate into another world without a valid reason.

Thus, the most effective solution Kael had come to was to absorb Thalor while he was weak and take his abilities.
