Synopsis
Heath Villamor leaves his quiet provincial life and widowed mother behind to work in Manila as a bodyguard for Caprice Montemayor—the only daughter of Don Crisostomo Montemayor, one of the most powerful billionaires in the country. Heath accepts the job not for ambition, but out of debt and gratitude; Don Crisostomo once saved Heath’s family from losing their farmland.
Raised with discipline, faith, and restraint, Heath believes in honor, boundaries, and saving himself for the woman he will marry. Caprice, on the other hand, lives by impulse. Beautiful, wealthy, and emotionally neglected, she masks her loneliness with pleasure, alcohol, and men who never stay.
From the moment they meet, they clash.
Caprice finds Heath infuriating—he doesn’t flirt, doesn’t react, and refuses to be intimidated by her wealth or beauty. Heath finds Caprice difficult, reckless, and dangerously tempting, yet he cannot bring himself to judge her. Beneath her sharp tongue and provocative behavior, he senses pain she never admits.
As days turn into weeks, proximity turns into tension. Caprice toys with Heath out of curiosity, then desire, then obsession. Heath struggles with temptation while trying to protect Caprice from both physical danger and herself.
Everything collapses one reckless night when alcohol and a hidden stimulant strip Heath of his control. Boundaries shatter. Heath wakes up beside the woman he swore never to touch.
For Heath, it is sin, guilt, and betrayal of his principles. For Caprice, it is the beginning of something she refuses to lose.
What begins as a mistake becomes a secret arrangement fueled by desire, manipulation, and unspoken emotions. Heath fights to pull away, while Caprice tightens her grip using fear, power, and her father’s authority to keep him close.
But control is not love.
As truths unravel about consent, trauma, class divide, and emotional dependence both are forced to confront who they are and who they want to become.
In a world ruled by money and power, can love born from a mistake ever be redeemed?
