Chapter 1 - Jujutsu Kaisen, the Freeloading System

The world of jujutsu—Tokyo. Inside an unfamiliar apartment.

The man lying on the bed suddenly snapped his eyes open, then instantly sat upright.

"Holy hell—where did this dump send me? Is this still Earth?"

Staring at the strange surroundings, An Xora recalled the very last scene before he lost consciousness.

It was a dump truck falling straight down from the sky, delivering a perfect Mount Tai Crush that elbow-smashed him—someone who lived on the 26th floor—straight into oblivion.

God knew why a dump truck could fly. His home wasn't even in Chongqing!

"Ding! Congratulations, Host, on binding to the Freeloading System. Detected that the current world you are in is [Jujutsu Kaisen]."

At that moment, a mechanical voice abruptly sounded beside An Xora's ear.

"Jujutsu Kaisen? You mean that series with 'jujutsu' in the name, but where the protagonist spends the whole story just elbowing people, doesn't know a single spell, and elbows his way from start to finish?"

Hearing the name of the world mentioned by the system, An Xora subconsciously recalled all kinds of related settings and plot points.

But very quickly, he realized something was off.

"Wait—system? Oh, I get it now! That dump truck before I transmigrated was your doing, wasn't it? Business is that tight these days? You couldn't even wait for me to go outside—just dropped a truck on my head at home, huh?"

"Ding! Detected strong dissatisfaction from the Host. As compensation, the initial gift package rewards will be doubled."

Before An Xora could finish, the system's mechanical voice rang out again.

"Hm? Ah… well, if that's the case, I guess that works."

With compensation on the table, An Xora's mood improved considerably. After all, forced reincarnation had already happened—getting a bit more benefit out of it wasn't bad.

Then again… he didn't even know what was in that initial gift package. What if the system just said it was doubled, but actually gave him the same old rewards? Wouldn't he still be getting played?

"Ding! Please rest assured, Host. As a system of the new era, serving the Host is this system's core logic. The system will absolutely not engage in any behavior that harms the Host's interests, including but not limited to developing self-awareness, withholding rewards, providing false information, or punitive erasure."

[Note: The entity communicating with the Host at this moment is the system's built-in basic AI response module. It possesses no self-awareness and exists solely to help the Host become familiar with system functions.]

"Alright then."

An Xora nodded. After all, he had already transmigrated to another world—was the system really going to bother lying to a man with no ambition, content to mooch and rot, who woke up every day complaining about how he still hadn't been kept by a rich older woman, living a worthless, non-recyclable-trash kind of life?

"System, introduce your abilities. The functions you mentioned just now."

"Ding! This system is the Freeloading System, dedicated to cultivating the Host into the ultimate freeloader across infinite worlds. As long as the system detects freeloading behavior by the Host, points will be awarded in varying amounts. Points can be used to access system functions, such as purchasing items and skills from the shop, traveling to other worlds, creating clones to assist the Host in freeloading, and so on…"

Listening to the mechanical voice echo in his ears, An Xora nodded from time to time.

A freeloading system, huh? It fit his pre-transmigration mental state perfectly. Or maybe that was exactly why the system had chosen him in the first place.

Opening the shop interface, a dazzling array of goods immediately flooded An Xora's vision—items and skills from infinite worlds: Devil Fruits, Gundams, Stands, magic…

At the very top of the shop was the discount section, which refreshed once a month. Each refresh produced three to five randomly discounted items, with discounts ranging from 20% off at worst to as much as 70% off.

The three items currently listed in the discount section were:

[Quantumization] (70% off): 2400 points

[Three-Tomoe Sharingan] (70% off): 450 points

[Authority of the Herrscher of Life and Death] (50% off): 5000 points

"Quantumization and Herrscher Authority from the Honkai series, huh? Both are pretty good. The Three-Tomoe Sharingan is kind of everywhere, but it's still decent."

"But abilities like these usually require Honkai energy or chakra in their original settings. If I buy them in the jujutsu world, can I really use them?"

"Ding! Please rest assured, Host. All abilities and items produced by the system have been modified to automatically adapt to different power systems. There will never be situations where purchased items cannot be used due to lack of the appropriate energy system or world incompatibility. Full after-sales support guaranteed—please purchase with confidence."

"Even if you say that, I don't have a single system point right now. I can't buy anything anyway…"

As he said that, An Xora remembered that the system had mentioned compensating him with a double-reward initial gift package.

"System, send me that initial gift package you mentioned earlier. I want to see what's inside."

"Ding! Initial gift package delivered. Congratulations, Host, you have obtained points [5000]×2."

With the gift package opened, a full ten thousand points were credited at once, instantly turning An Xora from dirt-poor into someone with a modest stash.

"This initial gift package is seriously generous. Even without doubling, five thousand points would've been a lot. I originally thought I'd be lucky to get one or two thousand—enough to buy Quantumization at best. Now it looks like I can buy both Quantumization and the Herrscher of Life and Death Authority."

If he had those two abilities, An Xora was confident he wouldn't be weak even in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

However… he had no intention of using those abilities on himself.

After all, this was a freeloading system. He was supposed to live off others. If trouble came, he absolutely shouldn't deal with it himself—it should be beautiful girls solving his problems for him. Even his daily life should be supported by beautiful girls.

When there's trouble, beautiful girls handle it. When there isn't—

But An Xora also didn't want to give abilities he bought to other people. For no special reason—just because even if they were female characters from a 2D world, once they became real, he wouldn't trust them.

The best option would be someone he knew inside and out, someone who would absolutely never betray him…

"System, I remember you have the ability to create clones, right?"

"Ding. The base cost for creating a clone is 500 points. The Host may customize the clone's gender and appearance, or directly manifest an image from the Host's mind. The system will automatically arrange a reasonable identity for the clone. If additional identity requirements are needed, or if the clone must possess special talents, extra points will be charged depending on the situation."

"Do manifested clones have self-awareness?"

"Ding. There are two cases. One is without self-awareness, fully controlled by the Host or managed automatically by the system AI. The other possesses self-awareness, based on the Host's own will. If the manifested clone corresponds to an existing character image, it may also acquire that character's memories. The two merge upon creation, resulting in a high degree of restoration, and the clone will be mentally connected to the Host."

"Regardless of which type the clone is, all clones possess one hundred percent loyalty to the Host and will never betray the Host."

[Note: If the corresponding character's memories contain special techniques or other unique knowledge, additional points may be required depending on the circumstances.]

"Very good."

Hearing the system's response, An Xora nodded in satisfaction.

"Then one last question… if I live off my clones, can I earn points?"
