Chapter 115 - Mobius’s New Research — The Ouroboros Serum and the Giant Wendigo

As the commotion on the battlefield gradually subsided, and after it was confirmed that not a single member of the Apollo Familia still had the ability to resist, the three Floor Bosses' figures slowly faded away. They vanished completely, transforming back into cards that returned to Sakura's hand.

The [Mirror] card possessed the ability to create mirror images identical to others. The replicated entities would obey Sakura's commands without question—this was precisely why the three Floor Bosses had appeared on the battlefield.

Long before the War Game began, Seele and Sakura had deliberately made a trip into the Dungeon, venturing deep inside to copy all four Floor Bosses currently known to the Orario Guild—this was the "surprise" they had mentioned earlier, prepared specifically for the Apollo Familia.

Goliath, Amphisbaena, Udaeus, and even Balor.

That said, unleashing three Floor Bosses against a single Apollo Familia was already like using cannons to swat flies, so Sakura hadn't bothered copying Balor with the Mirror card this time.

"Seele-jie, I'll leave the rest to you."

After putting away the Mirror card, Sakura spoke to Seele beside her.

"Mm. Leave it to me."

Seele nodded, then raised one hand.

A gentle, non-blinding white light bloomed from her palm and spread across the entire battlefield.

Nourished by the power of creation, the injuries on every fallen Apollo Familia member began to rapidly heal, fully restoring them within just a few seconds.

Yes—despite how ferocious Goliath and Amphisbaena's assault had looked earlier, under Sakura's deliberate control, every Apollo Familia member had merely been gravely wounded or knocked unconscious. Not a single person had died.

Unless she was facing monsters or truly irredeemable villains, Sakura was deeply averse to killing.

Thus, the War Game between the Hestia Familia and the Apollo Familia came to a complete end. After the results were officially announced, Guild personnel soon arrived and took Sakura away for questioning.

After all, the appearance of Floor Bosses outside the Dungeon had caused quite a stir. Even though many people suspected it was the result of magic, the Guild still sent someone to question Sakura just to be safe.

Fortunately, the Guild had no intention of making things difficult for her. Once it was confirmed that the three Floor Bosses' appearance was indeed the effect of Sakura's magic—especially after she proactively explained her ability and demonstrated the Mirror card's replication effect again—she was promptly escorted back.

Neither An Xora, Seele, nor Sakura was worried that this would pose any danger to them. From start to finish, they hadn't bothered concealing any non-essential information.

After all, although Sakura had only spent half a month developing in the Danmachi world, her growth over those two weeks had already given her the faint air of being invincible within Orario.

As such, within the entire Hestia Familia, the only one genuinely worried about Sakura and Seele's safety… was Hestia herself.

That evening, at The Hostess of Fertility tavern.

After winning the War Game and taking over the Apollo Familia's assets, Hestia—wanting to celebrate—magnanimously waved her hand and treated everyone to a lavish meal, bringing along Seele, Sakura, and An Xora as well.

"In the end, isn't this still money earned by Sakura and Seele?"

An Xora commented.

"I don't think you have the right to say that. Or rather, you're the one person I don't want to hear that from,"

Hestia replied flatly, utterly speechless.

As the Familia's patron goddess, it was perfectly normal for her to control part of the Familia's assets. Besides, without her as the patron deity, the War Game wouldn't have happened in the first place—after all, by Guild regulations, a War Game could only be held if both Familias' gods agreed.

No War Game meant no legitimate takeover of the Apollo Familia's assets.

In other words, this "house raid" against the Apollo Familia owed ninety percent of its success to Sakura and Seele, while Hestia herself still deserved at least ten percent of the credit.

As for An Xora—he watched the whole thing from the sidelines. Final evaluation: 3.0 points, pure freeloading.

As dishes were gradually served, Sakura took the opportunity during the meal to hand An Xora a card.

"This is the improved Divine Blessing you asked me to work on before, An Xora-ge. I've completely engraved it into this card. With it, you'll be able to bestow blessings on others as well."

"Good work, Sakura."

Looking at the card in his hand, An Xora nodded slightly and smiled as he gently patted Sakura's head.

The next day, An Xora left the Danmachi world, preparing to return to the Arknights world to bestow blessings upon Talulah, Doctor, and the others.

Before that, however, he made a brief stop in the One Punch Man world, intending to see whether Mobius had developed anything new during his absence.

One Punch Man World — Mobius's Research Base

As An Xora approached Mobius's usual laboratory, he was surprised to find that Makima was also present.

"Most of the high-level officials across various countries in the Jujutsu world are now under my control. There's no longer a need for me to remain stationed there long-term,"

Makima explained with a smile, noticing An Xora's surprise.

"So I accepted Dr. Mobius's invitation and came to this world to help her take control of a group of top-tier human tycoons."

That explained it—Makima had finished up her work in the Jujutsu world and come here to work overtime for Mobius.

"So, Mobius, have you made any new breakthroughs lately?"

An Xora asked.

Mobius, who had been buried in data at the lab bench, looked up.

"If we're talking about research results, there are indeed a few. First, I combined the effects of the Monster Cells and the Limit Breaker serum you brought before, optimized them further, and created a new compound. I've named it the Ouroboros Serum — Type I."

"You can think of it as an enhanced fusion of improved Monster Cells and the Limit Breaker serum."

"Of course, Ouroboros Serum Type I still can't break the upper limit to allow the user to reach God-level. It's just that its single-use effect is far stronger than before."

"Secondly, I tracked down the giant brothers from this world's original story. By researching the serum used by the one known as the Biceps King, and combining it with the racial genes of the Wendigo from another world, I successfully created a new type of Wendigo."

"The new Wendigo can reach a height and size exceeding 150 meters, with destructive power barely reaching the lower tier of Dragon-level monsters in this world. Most importantly, the difficulty of cultivating them isn't particularly high—though the resource cost is substantial."

"I see. No wonder you wanted Makima to help you control the tycoons of this world,"

An Xora nodded.

"Not entirely for funding," Mobius replied calmly.

"I've said it before—the social structure of this world is extremely distorted. Wealth grants far more influence than you'd imagine. For example, by openly cooperating with those tycoons, the biotech company I founded has already taken off, and I've acquired shares in the Hero Association."

"In other words—"

Mobius smiled faintly.

"Standing before you now is one of the major shareholders of the Hero Association."
