Chapter 170 - Chapter 172 Poor

Raina Gordon, one of the Inhumans, awakened the ability of teleportation, but her genes weren't great, the price being the loss of her eyesight.

Fortunately, her awakened ability allowed her to perceive her surroundings, preventing her from becoming completely blind.

To be honest, Finney didn't expect him to appear. If it weren't for the insights gained from the Space Stone's teleportation, making him exceptionally sensitive to spatial fluctuations, he almost wouldn't have noticed his arrival.

Finney was surprised, but Gordon was even more surprised.

Although Carl Johnson didn't know the location of the Inhumans, Jiaying knew his. Out of their marital affection, and considering the possibility of needing him in the future, she would occasionally have Gordon check on his condition.

Coincidentally, last night was the day Gordon was supposed to check on him. Carl was happily tidying up the house and getting ready, which was so unusual that Gordon became somewhat concerned.

So today, he came again to observe, and happened to witness Skye using her Vibration ability. Because of his special perception, he instantly realized that Skye was one of his kind, and couldn't help but reveal himself.

But he didn't expect to reveal Finney's identity.

He frequently went out to purchase supplies, making him arguably the most knowledgeable about the outside world among the Inhumans. He certainly knew about the 'world's strongest' Divine Punishment Knight, or rather, even his organization, 'Afterlife,' knew of Finney's name.

Some even believed Finney was an Inhuman like them, only with a slightly different and more numerous awakened abilities.

"He's actually the Divine Punishment Knight!"

Reina beside Skye was also incredibly excited. She never imagined Finney's identity was so terrifying—the world's most mysterious Divine Punishment Knight.

With complex thoughts, she immediately considered what this news could bring her.

At the same time, she saw Gordon's face and couldn't help but think again of the price Finney had mentioned. With a living example before her eyes, she was beginning to believe it.

  "I mean no harm!"

Having discovered Finney's identity, Gordon dared not be careless and quickly stated his position, saying, "We're the same kind of people!"

Finney remained silent, wondering if he could subdue this guy directly, but because he didn't know how Gordon activated his abilities, he hesitated and didn't attack immediately.

  "Who are you?"

Finney took a step forward, approaching Gordon, his breathing technique subtly activating, his blood absorbing oxygen to provide strength and energy.

"My name is Gordon, I come from a place where everyone is like you and me."

Gordon opened his arms, indicating he was harmless.

  "Everyone without eyes like you!?"

Finney slowly lowered his pace, subtly gathering his strength, trying to subdue him in an instant.

"Eyes aren't the only way to understand this world. Losing them has actually made me see and understand this world more clearly."

Gordon replied. Over the years, he had long since adapted to life without eyes, and also felt that it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

However, as he spoke, Gordon also retreated, because he didn't see things with his eyes, so he immediately noticed that something was wrong with Finney.

Seeing Gordon's wariness, Finney stopped. He regretted not bringing the Tesseract with him. While he couldn't fully control the Space Stone's power, he could at least seal off the surrounding space like Loki.

  "How were you transformed?"

Gordon suddenly asked. The Terrigen Crystal was inside the obelisk, a difficult thing to deal with, and he was curious how Skye had managed the transformation.

At the same time, he was also wary. He didn't sense the familiarity Skye had with Finney, suggesting that Finney might be different from them.

Finney didn't answer immediately, but stared at Gordon carefully, considering his ability. Judging from how he appeared, this ability wasn't particularly lethal.

The teleportation speed was slightly faster than when he opened a portal, since there was no skill animation delay.

Moreover, recalling the original plot, it seemed he could teleport people simply by touching him, which was much more convenient than a teleportation portal. It was just unknown how many people he could bring, or what the teleportation distance would be.

The room fell silent. Skye trusted Finney and didn't say a word. Lena dared not speak, and Carl was only concerned about Skye. Although he had some suspicions about Gordon's identity, he remained silent because Finney was there.

  "Where is your organization located?"

Suddenly, Finney commanded in a deep voice using the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique.' He could forgo capturing Gordon, but he needed to know the location of Skye's mother's organization.

  "The Himalayas..."

Gordon, influenced by the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique,' unconsciously tried to say the location, but before he could finish, his expression changed drastically. He activated Instant Teleportation, a blue light flashed on his back, and then he vanished like smoke before everyone's eyes.

  "In the Himalayas!?"

Although Gordon didn't finish speaking, Finney still caught part of it. He hadn't expected the Inhuman organization to be his 'neighbor,' though perhaps not that close, given the vastness of the Himalayas.

Seeing Gordon disappear, Skye, who had been worried, breathed a sigh of relief and immediately went to Finney's side, asking with concern, "Finney, who is he?"

Finney glanced at Skye, then at the stunned and silent Carl Johnson, and replied, "If I'm not mistaken, he's probably one of your mother's men."

  "Ah!"

Skye was startled, then instinctively grabbed Finney's arm, asking anxiously, "Then why did he come here just now...?"

  "I don't know."

Finney shook his head. He truly hadn't expected to see Gordon here. If he had known, he would have definitely brought the Tesseract and had him teleport again.

"But I know their approximate location now, and we'll find them soon!"

Before, there were no clues, making it difficult to find Skye's mother's location, but now that he knew the general area, it would be much easier, especially since it was his most familiar territory.

Unlike Wakanda, the Inhumans don't have high-tech protective shields for concealment; they're just hiding deep in the mountains. Even without Hydra's manpower searching, he could find them himself riding his Blue-Eyes White Dragon for a few days.

"I never imagined you were the legendary Divine Punishment Knight!"

Reina came to Finney's side, looking at his silver armor, and couldn't help but ask, "Can I touch it?"

  "No!"

Finney immediately released the 'Demon Possession', looked at Reina, and suddenly used the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' to command her: "Forget what happened after Gordon arrived!"

Reina was an ambitious person, and also exceptionally prone to causing trouble.

Therefore, Finney didn't want her to know his identity, at least not now. Letting her know he wasn't an ordinary person was to increase his intimidation factor, but letting her actually figure out his background would only make things more complicated.

Poor Reina, before she could even figure out how to use Finney's identity information to gain benefits, was nipped in the bud by Finney.

Reina is currently just an ordinary person. She might be perceptive and a little clever, but she's no match for Finney's current 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique'.

After a moment of confusion, her consciousness returned, and seeing everyone looking at her, she asked in bewilderment, "What's wrong?"

  "Nothing!"

Finney immediately shook his head and looked away. He knew the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' had taken effect.
