Synopsis
In a land ruled by ancient symbols whose meanings have been deliberately obscured, survival depends not on strength, but on obedience. Most live their lives never questioning why certain truths are forbidden, why some sins are tolerated, and why history feels incomplete. As rumors spread of the Seven Deadly Organizations—infamous factions believed to embody humanity’s darkest vices—Kael becomes entangled with forces far greater than himself. The deeper he descends, the clearer the pattern becomes: evil is not an accident, and salvation is not free. Every system requires sacrifice. Every balance demands a victim. And some truths are buried not to protect humanity—but to guide it. That illusion fractures when Kael becomes entangled with a force that does not ask for permission. By the end of the first ordeal, Kael realizes the most terrifying truth of all— the world does not fear chaos. It fears change.

Chapter 1 - Bandits

"What do you think about Seven Deadly Organizations? Caelum Rhaegor?" asked a young man.

"I say, they are notorious ones. Why are you asking me this anyway. Isn't it Guild's responsibility to deal with them, Aurelion Veth?" replied Caelum Rhaegor, another young man sitting on the chair and drinking some hot water at the bar.

"...."

"Still doubting me? I am not one of the Seven Deadly Organizations. I don't belong to any of them." said Caelum Rhaegor and then began to drink water.

"Fair enough. But can I ask you something?" asked Aurelion Veth.

"Hm?"

"Why are we here if all you wanted to drink was hot water? Couldn't you choose a different place?"

"Yeah, I apologise I didn't really mean to haha." said Caelum Rhaegor, while trying to escape a cold glare from Aurelion.

"Well, whatever...But let me tell you something....If I happen to catch you again doing some shady stuff and interfere me, I will kill you without mercy." said Aurelion Veth, with the serious demeanor on his face.

"Woah Woah, cool down...I am not interested in dangerous stuff. And, don't you think many of them will get involved or interfere you anyways? Why bother coming all the way down here to warn a simple ordinary innocent and handsome guy like me?" replied Caelum Rhaegor with a causal friendly tone.

"Anyways, pay the bill yourself for eating so much, I am off, I don't have a single money left." said Aurelion Veth and left.

"What!? W-Wait! You can't do this to me!? I thought we are friends, can't you pay?" asked Caelum Rhaegor.

After ignoring Caelum Rhaegor's last reply, Aurelion left the bar and leaving Caelum Rhaegor alone.

"Hm....Man, I can never get along with that guy so easily. Anyways, I gotta go and watch some tv shows." muttered Caelum Rhaegor.

"Kael Ardyn, did you overhear our conversation?" asked Caelum Rhaegor, noticing the presence of Kael who is sitting on a different seat while eating some snacks.

"..." Kael didn't respond.

"Why are you eating snacks instead of having some dinner. Well, whatever. I got to go now. But here is your new mission...." said Caelum Rhaegor.

With a brief serious expression, he said again after a pause "Dismantle all those Seven Deadly Organisations. Erase every last trace of them."

With that order, he left the bar after paying the bills for Kael Ardyn and Aurelion Veth who didn't paid a single cent.

Caelum came back and gave Kael a strange bracelet, having a angel mark on it.

"Keep this, it will come handy because you may be trying to go to H-Type city I assume? Anyways, I gotta go now." as Caelum said that, he left the bar for real.

Kael Ardyn went out after eating and is roaming the streets of H-Type City.

Kael Ardyn came across a bunch of local bandits who were secretly meeting up each other at the back alley street.

Having witnessing them talking about how they can steal more stuff, Kael overheard something intriguing.

"Hm...It's kinda hard to fill our stomach because of guilds being active lately." said Bandit member.

"If things go this way, we won't be surviving much." said another Bandit member.

"I heard they are doing this because of the Seven Deadly Organizations."

"Ah, now you remind me...they are definitely active as well. Heard, their crimes are increasing."

"Something is common about these organizations though.."

"And what is it?"

"Apparently, they aren't targeting any of the civilians. They seems to be targeting guild for some reasons. Probably that is why guild is being harsh these days as they apply some laws like arresting suspects without a warrant."

"But I wonder why a young man like you is eavesdropping on us?" asked Bandit leader, looking at the wall where Kael is hiding besides.

Kael, having realised he is found, came out from shadows and stood in front of bandit group.

"Who are you young lad? You have no idea what you have got yerself into, do you? Give us all you money or everything you have got unless you don't want to get hurt" asked Bandit Leader.

Bandit members brought their daggers out.

"Not the talkative type eh? Seems like you need some teaching. Hey, I heard one of the Seven Deadly Organizations known as The Saints, offers a lot of money if you capture a guild member from B rank to SSS Rank?" said Bandit leader, his eyes locked on the gold guild batch.

"This kiddo seems to be a B ranker, guess we are lucky." said Bandit Leader.

Having heard the name of The Saints, one of the Seven Deadly Organizations, Kael Ardyn didn't react at all but rather stood, staring at Bandits.

"Hm? You ain't gonna bring out your weapon? Well, are you dumb? Hah! Hey capture him alive, we will offer him to The Saints!" exclaimed Bandit Leader.

One of the Bandit member moved forward to attack but instead Kael Ardyn surrendered by lifting both his hands up.

"...B... Boss....he doesn't seem to resist at all..." said Bandit member.

"Poor lad, he must have got scared so much. Well put yer weapons down. If he is not going to resist, we won't need to struggle. But really, kiddo you should have atleast struggled to run away. Well, your mistake. Boys, tie his hands tightly just in case and let's move on." ordered Bandit Leader.

Kael was drugged with a sleeping powder, making him fall asleep.

The next morning, Kael woke up. He found himself in a dizzy state, recovering his condition rapidly as he began to take notes. He realises that he has gotten himself into the The Saints's place.

And so Kael also finds himself trapped into a prison.

"Heh, so you are now making some noises as soon as you woke up?" Said another prisoner, on the other side of the wall.

"Seems like you are new here. Welcome to The Saints's true hell. A kind of hell you would never imagine." the voice seemed to be cheerful, hiding some potential resentment towards this organization.

"The name is Willy, may I know your name? Seems like we will be working like hell." Asked Prisoner Willy, revealing his name.
