He did not enter the room and check what was happening just outside of the room.
He did not want the enemy to know that their friend was killed.
They will understand at some point, but it was better to let them keep thinking for more than ten to fifteen seconds.
"A ritualistic protection nen ability on the prince."
"It is powered by the guy that is holding his hands."
"A dangerous enemy with glowing green hands, Adarte keeping his distance, great."
"Anisa just entered the room and is observing everything, especially the prince and the guard beside him."
"She is deciding on what she should do."
"It is smart."
"As a counter-active nen user herself, she thinks there can be a curse or some sort of other conditional activation ability on the prince or the man beside him."
Conrad then focused on the prince for more than one second and the guard and then saw their hands.
"The ability they are using must have the condition of physical contact."
"If it is a physical contact ability, it means as long as their contact is cut, then the ability will be deactivated due to conditions not being fulfilled anymore."
Conrad took a deep breath and controlled his sphere or orbs, orbs that he preferred to call them, and then went to the room under.
He had an idea.
"If it was easy to attack them and let them separate, it would be a pretty weak ability."
"From what I saw in these three nen users, they are not that strong in base capabilities or mastery of nen, but their nen abilities are pretty powerful."
"Most likely they have some strict conditions and limitations."
"If this guy that is holding hands with the prince had the same type of abilities, it would be a pretty idiotic way to think that just one attack on either of them would cause their abilities to break down due to separation. ".
"But, I am sure, the attack is not done by them to their environment, and they forcefully separated for a moment, and I see a weakness in Nen; they can be separated."
He then sent a signal to Anisa.
"Take down the man with the green hands; I will try to clean the enemy ritualistic ability that protects the prince."
Anisa looked at the message and the signal on her phone, and then she targeted Arjoe.
Arjoe looked behind at himself for a moment, and as he looked behind, he was hit by the metal bat on the side.
"Arrgh." He was injured, but it was not much.
"I am making too many mistakes," he said to himself.
"How am I going to be able to fight against two nen users at the same time?"
"Radey cannot help it, and Nilse is still fighting the enemy outside." As he thought, he got up and noticed something was not right.
"There is no sound from the hallway...."
"Why is there no sound? The roar of the creature Nilse is absent too."
"Was she able to get the enemy and come here to help me out?"
"Or she is dead."
"If she is dead, why is the enemy not here? And if she was able to kill the enemy, why is she not here?"
"If she were able to kill the enemy, she would be coming right here to protect the prince."
"Is she in a bad state after the fight?"
Arjoe Train's thoughts and mind worked like a supercomputer for a moment. His head was filled with possibilities, doubts, and scenarios.
Pretty common occurrence in a nen battle, which is why the nen battles are much more different than usual battles.
Everything needs to be thought about and could happen, and one must be ready to fight against almost all sorts of possibilities.
"I cannot think!"
While he thought. Radey shouted.
"Arjoe, be careful!"
Arjoe jumped left as he heard his friend and dodged a dagger attack from the woman who now targets him.
He looked at the man with the metal bat and the woman with the dagger and a revolver.
"I am not great against fighting ranged people."
"That revolver is not a funny weapon at all."
He thought and then noticed the look in the eyes of Radey.
He did not speak this time, but the look told him everything he needed to know.
"It is simple."
"I have no chance to fight this battle."
"The only chance of success is to let them spend their time, at least seven to ten minutes, so that NEN users from the kingdom can arrive."
"This is the only chance."
With this understanding, Arjoe stopped thinking and stood still as he opened his hands and waited for them.
There is no real reason to think what to do, only thing he can do is the defend the prince as much as he can while waiting for help.
Adarte and Anisa looked at each other, and Anisa whispered.
"I will be the direct combatant, and I need you to keep close to me to find ways to attack from the openings."
Adarte nodded. Despite knowing that the man's hands are dangerous.
In the end, Anisa needed to fight in close combat with an enemy to activate her strongest ability, the Revolver.
An enemy needs to attack her with the intention of killing; if this condition is not fulfilled, a bullet is not going to be formed within the revolver.
Anisa then launched a barrage of attacks towards Arjoe.
Arjoe dodged left and right, blocked some of the attacks, and then he whispered.
"Stored Life – Corpse Blade." With his whisper, a blade sixty cm in length manifested in his hands, and then he slashed at Anisa, cutting her chest slightly.
Anisa jumped back and let out a cold breath.
"What an evil energy that weapon has..."
Adarte nodded.
"Yeah, I noticed it too."
"The second he manifested that dark blade, I felt something; my soul felt that that weapon is not right."
Anisa nodded.
Adarte then asked.
"Your condition?"
Anisa laughed.
"Normally, one bullet per one attack is manifested in my revolver if the attacker has the will to kill me."
"But, this time, one swipe from that blade was enough to form three bullets."
Adarte smiled and said.
"It must be because of the nature of the blade that the man uses; it must have something to do with evil and life, as well as death."
Anisa nodded.
"Now, I could care less about those things," as she said, she targeted Arjoe.
