Conrad was trying to find a way to take Maven and Nelfin on.
He believed it would be better for him to not stop Maven and Nelfin from following Adarte and Anisa.
Eldras at first ordered Maven and Nelfin to follow Adarte and Anisa, but due to his interception, they stopped to attack him, and the other two nen users in the group followed Adarte and Anisa.
"They are well suited to take these two down without much of a problem."
Maven and Nelfin were both close-combat type nen users without the help of Eldras.
They can not take down Adarte and Anisa.
"I wonder what kind of enemies they will need to fight." While he thought about it, at a distance of forty km, a different chase was ongoing.

Adarte and Anisa kept on running while they both kept looking at the back.
"What do you think?"
Adarte asked.
The nature of the questions was easy to understand.
Anisa looked at two enemies, a silver-haired man, similar to the man she killed, and a small-statured woman with some sort of a white stick in her hand.
"We can take them."
"They are only two people."
Anisa said and could not help but think how hard it would be to kill these two nen users that are following them.
Conrad said to them that escape is the best thing they can do, but not with their speed and the distance.
If they did not want to stop chasing, it would be almost impossible to stop them from chasing and lose their track.
"Okay..."
"I take the guy, you take the woman."
"Stay close to each other. If any one of us needs to switch, we can switch targets."
Adarte said.
The reason for staying close and switching was simple.
If the enemy has a counter ability to their nen ability, it would be better to switch and then try to forcefully take on the enemy.
They are here to kill them; this was not just another Heavens Arena fight.
Any mistake on their part meant certain death or even worse, getting caught and tortured until the end of time for the reason of assassinating a prince.
Anisa thought and then smiled.
"Good."
She said and stopped for a moment, and then with a jump to the right and then back, she and the woman with a white stick-like object hit each other.
At the same time, Adarte stopped, and his glove as well as Metal Bat manifested as he launched himself at the man with white hair.
"Oh..."
The white-haired man murmured.
"That was unexpected," he said as he stopped the attack of Adarte with his foot.
Adarte noticed the physical capability of the man as he blocked.
First attacks on a new enemy usually do not consist much of a threat.
It is done to understand what kind of caliber the enemy is and how strong they are.
Simply, testing the waters to understand the enemy better.
"Not great." Adarte landed on the open ground and started looking at the man with some annoyed expression.
The man with a simple kick was able to stop the attack of himself.
This meant that this guy is a problem.
"It seems like this battle will be the most important one I will fight in this life."
Adarte thought.
While he prepared to fight, Anisa and the woman with the white stick did not pull their punches.
One of them attacked, the other one blocked, and while one of them attacked, the other one dodged.
In just five seconds after first launching an attack by Anisa, they have already exchanged several attacks.
"So..."
"What is that dagger for, little girl?" the woman with the white stick asked.
She was wearing some sort of sports clothing, and her height was only about one hundred fifty cm at most.
A child-sized woman.
Anisa said nothing and let out a cold breath.
"After ten to fifteen times, I was not able to hit her."
"But she is too, not able to hit me."
It was not hard to see for Anisa that this woman too is pretty dangerous and powerful.
"My name is Lilis, by the way," the small woman said as she played with the white stick with her hand.
"You know..."
"I expected more of a threat," she added, with a smirk.
"But you are just an amateur," she added again with a small laugh this time.
Anisa did not care and did not take the words.
If she did really get angry.
That would be the real amateurish thing to do, and she was not fool enough to do it.
"She attacks with killing intent. As long as I get hit and the killing intent is there, I can form bullets to take her down."
The biggest problem with Anisa's ability was that an enemy could find out about her ability, especially the revolver and its bullet-forming.
They can just decide to attack her, not with the intent of killing but of imprisoning.
Getting imprisoned would mean getting killed in the end, but because the intent is not to kill her, the bullets would not form.
Basically, Anisa can not just go on and let herself take damage.
Any experienced NEN user will understand that Anisa is trying to trigger a counteractive ability, and it would make her ability instantly useless.
While she thought, Lilis let out a cold breath.
"You are boring..." she said, and then, on the tip of the white stick, a small amount of red color showed up like it was just manifested.
Then, the red color changed and became like a dye.
In just seconds, the white stick turned red, Red Stick.
She then smiled again at Anisa and said.
"You will make a great toy..."
With this, she launched towards Anisa, and the duo started another exchange.
Right now, for Anisa, the most important thing was to understand what kind of ability the crazy woman had with that stick and then decide on how to kill her or switch with Adarte.
