While waiting at a red light, he adjusted the rearview mirror.
The reflection immediately showed a handsome young man with white hair and well-defined features—and, above his head, a line of text only he could see:

"Only one last delivery left. Nothing happened. Looks like my luck is pretty 'bad' today." Su Yi smiled in satisfaction.
Ever since that buff activated, his life had started playing out like the protagonist of a dating sim—go out to use the bathroom and you'd still trigger a plot event.
One moment he'd accidentally wander into a kidnapping, save some young heiress, and she'd insist on repaying him with her life and future. The next, a wanted criminal would dive under his tire like a speed bump and stuff the bounty money into his pocket.
He'd only crawled out of a sarcophagus in Chernobog three months ago, and things like that had already happened five or six times.
Once or twice, fine. When it keeps happening, it gets old.
More importantly, Penguin Logistics was a company that cared about delivery times. He'd been chewed out more than once by the "cultured gentleman," Emperor, for being late.
But what could he do? All he could manage was being extra careful and trying not to trigger side quests—because this kind of good luck… didn't take no for an answer.
"How many packages do you guys have left?" he asked in the company group chat.
He had time to kill, so he opened his terminal and dropped the question.
"Two left," Exusiai replied instantly.
"Three," Texas answered, concise as ever.
Sora had an idol event today, and Croissant had gone to help, so only three of them were working at Penguin Logistics.
"I've only got one left. Looks like I'm today's top deliverer. You two veterans aren't so hot—getting beaten by an amnesiac rookie who hasn't even been in the job three months," Su Yi bragged.
—Because he hadn't inherited the original body's memories after coming here, Su Yi had claimed amnesia. Otherwise he'd have no way to explain why he knew nothing about this world.

Su Yi snarked to himself. The light turned green. He released the handbrake, gently pressed the accelerator, and set off to make his final delivery.
Then—suddenly!
A sharp, grating crash of shattered glass pierced his ears.
He glanced aside. In the rearview mirror, a blue-haired dragon girl had smashed through a window and leapt from the fifth floor, sprinting away down the street.
Several hulking, vicious-looking Kuranta men followed, jumping down after her with steel blades and baseball bats in hand, chasing hard.
"…Sigh. Here we go again."
With extreme reluctance, Su Yi reached under the seat and pulled out a revolver. He slammed the brake, yanked the wheel, snapped through a clean sequence—downshift, throttle—and the van surged forward with a roar. The rear end whipped out a massive arc across the road like a cracking lash, and he knifed straight into oncoming traffic.
The graffiti-splashed van moved in his hands like a razor slicing through salmon skin, slipping through the steel tide as if it belonged there.
Three months ago, Su Yi would've called this kind of driving insane.
Now he would only say: This is how Penguin Logistics drives. Don't like it? Call a traffic cop and have them write me up.
"—Lungmen profanity—!"
"Are you out of your mind?!"
"HOOOOONK—HOOOOONK—!"
"If you're sick, go get treated—don't come out here and ruin everyone else's day!"
