A burly Bear Beastman heard the commotion and quickly jumped down from the wall. He dusted off his hands and walked respectfully toward An Jin.
"This isn't the construction perimeter I requested," An Jin said decisively. She pulled a map from a large pocket in her clothes, unfolded it, and scanned the surrounding terrain with narrowed eyes.
"We... took the liberty of altering the perimeter," the Beastman admitted, scratching his large, chiseled, blocky head. He lowered his gaze, his face flushing red.
Several Beastmen on the wall slowly stopped their work and looked over in their direction.
An Jin didn't say anything, but a hint of displeasure was already visible on her face. She didn't believe her decisions were something to be altered on a whim.
'It seems my authority isn't yet great enough for the entire tribe to carry out my orders willingly.'
