Chapter 4 - 004: Korin Tower, Kami's Lookout

The journey was uneventful, and the two quickly returned to Capsule Corporation.

Gohan landed the spaceship on a relatively flat patch of ground in the backyard.

After a thorough inspection, Bulma said, "The damage isn't too severe; it should be repaired in about a week."

Hearing Bulma's words, Gohan secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Plan One:️♦

With a gravity training room and a spaceship, the available methods and scope of operations would greatly increase.

This brought a sense of security.

So, for the next day, Gohan and Trunks thoroughly cleaned the spaceship.

They meticulously removed the moss and various grime that covered the ship.

Aside from the few damaged areas, the spaceship had a new lease on life.

Now it was up to Bulma to show her skills.

Gohan and Trunks knew nothing about this, so they could only watch the spectacle from the sidelines.

After resting for another two days, Gohan felt his body had fully recovered, so he decided to put the second plan on the agenda.

Plan Two: Head to Kami's Lookout, target the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

In this timeline, let alone Gohan, even Vegeta didn't know about the existence of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Because of this, Gohan hadn't utilized the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

What a waste, it was truly a waste.

However, there was still one problem: ever since Piccolo was killed, Kami, who shared a life-link with him, also perished, and Kami's Lookout became ownerless.

Mr. Popo, the guardian of Kami's Lookout, was nowhere to be found.

It was also unknown whether Kami's Lookout had been attacked by the Androids.

All of this would require a personal visit to find out.

Gohan planned to take Trunks with him.

So, on the fourth day, Gohan briefly explained his plan to Bulma.

Bulma was a little surprised why Gohan knew these things and why he was only bringing them up now.

If he had known earlier, wouldn't he have started training already?

Gohan knew Bulma would have these questions after revealing his plan, and he already had an answer in mind.

Gohan said that he had heard his father mention it casually when he was very young, and too much time had passed, so he only suddenly remembered it now. He wasn't too sure, but it might be helpful for training.

Bulma gave Gohan a serious look and didn't press further.

"Hmm, having a method and direction is good. You two can go, but wait a moment, I have something to give you," Bulma said.

"Something for us?" Gohan and Trunks asked, puzzled.

Both wondered what it could be.

Before long, Bulma pulled out a capsule, pressed a button, and threw it on the ground with a "BOOM!", where it transformed into a large box.

Trunks eagerly opened the box and found sets of identical battle suits inside.

They were made of blue and white.

"Hmm? These battle suits look familiar," Gohan also squatted down and reached out to touch them.

Bulma then spoke softly, with a hint of sadness in her voice: "These battle suits were modified by me more than ten years ago based on the Frieza Force's combat uniforms. Each of our companions had a set, but unfortunately, they all died in battle before they could use them."

"Gohan's size back then should fit Trunks."

Gohan's eyes lit up.

These were good things.

These combat uniforms were very light, form-fitting, and breathable.

Not only that, but they could also withstand a certain degree of attack, offering good defense.

They were much sturdier than the orange martial arts uniform he was currently wearing.

Gohan had worn a Frieza Force combat uniform on Namek when he was a child and had always remembered it fondly.

He also remembered this particular style.

This was the gear Bulma brought out in the "original" story when Goku and Gohan first entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

One could say that the toughness of these combat uniforms was such that even if Gohan and Trunks transformed into Great Apes over ten meters tall, they wouldn't tear.

They had extremely strong elasticity and were rare, good equipment.

Gohan smiled and said, "Thank you, Aunt Bulma."

Trunks, without a word, found the smallest set and immediately changed into it. It fit perfectly.

He jumped around, very satisfied with the combat uniform.

Bulma smiled and said, "It fits perfectly, Trunks looks very handsome in it."

"Thank you, Mom," Trunks also smiled.

Gohan felt awkward changing in front of Bulma, so he found a spot to change and then came out.

Bulma glanced at him, her eyes sparkling.

Gohan was tall and well-built, with solid muscles, even more robust and taller than Goku was back then.

Gohan, who hadn't continued his studies, had a better physique than a model.

It was just a pity that he was missing his left arm, which affected the aesthetic.

He simply tied a knot in his left sleeve to prevent the empty sleeve from constantly flapping in the wind.

"Wow, Gohan-nii is so cool!" Trunks exclaimed.

"Very good, very good, they both fit well," Bulma nodded and smiled.

Gohan put away the extra battle suits.

Then he said, "Trunks and I are leaving now. We'll be back soon, in a day at the shortest, two days at the longest."

"Okay, good," Bulma nodded.

"Goodbye, Mom," Trunks waved.

"Goodbye, Trunks," Bulma waved back.

The two brothers left the house.

Gohan oriented himself.

Then the two took to the sky and flew towards Korin Tower.

Soon, heavy rain poured down from the sky, and dark clouds enveloped everything.

Gohan and Trunks flew through the rain, their ki flaring, keeping not a single drop of rain from touching them.

It didn't take long before a massive pillar piercing through the heavens appeared in front of them.

Various totems were carved into the colossal pillar.

Gohan knew that the top of that pillar was the legendary martial arts sanctuary, Korin Tower.

"Trunks, let's fly up," Gohan said, turning to Trunks.

"Yes, Gohan-nii," Trunks replied.

With a sharp turn, the two figures shot upwards, breaking through black clouds, and soon reached the top of the giant pillar.

Korin Tower, the place where Korin the cat lived.

Gohan and Trunks stopped, flew in, and landed steadily.

Gohan's gaze swept around, and he sighed helplessly.

Korin, who had lived here for years, was nowhere to be found.

Only a large number of empty bottles and jars remained; there was nothing else.

"Gohan-nii, where is this?" Trunks asked curiously.

"Korin the cat's residence. He used to cultivate Senzu Beans here," Gohan replied.

"Ah, then where is he now?" Trunks asked in shock, then started rummaging through the bottles and jars, hoping to find a Senzu Bean to heal Gohan-nii's severed arm.

But unfortunately, not even half a bean, let alone a whole one, was left.

Gohan shook his head and said, "I don't know."

"Let's go, Kami's Lookout is still higher up."

The two left and continued flying upwards.

As they flew higher and higher, the sky was no longer gray but became clear, and warm sunlight shone on them, making them feel incredibly comfortable.

The two seemed to have arrived in another beautiful world.

Trunks had never seen such a landscape and was very excited; if it weren't for his personality, he would have shouted.

Soon, the two broke through a white cloud and arrived above Kami's Lookout.
