Zade had already turned at the sound of the door opening, with the biggest frown as he had explicitly told them not to come in.
'Shit. I forgot about Thomas.'
Zade froze as he stared at Thomas, who stood half-in and half-out of the room, his face pale and eyes wide with shock. Zade was taken aback, his mind racing as he scrambled for a way to handle the situation.
He didn't want Thomas to see Rai, but he couldn't bring himself to order him out as that felt unfair. Yet, he didn't want to let Thomas come inside, either though he couldn't do that as he was wrong on bringing someone else who was not permitted here.
And, there was nowhere else to go with Rai but back outside, back to where Rai had been before.
But, no...
People had already been staring at Rai. He was not taking him back out there, looking like this.
