'The following morning…'
Ruby had already gotten up and dressed herself with Dally's aid before leaving the room before I woke up.
What she didn't know was that I was already awake.
How can I sleep when I am stressed?
Once she left the room, I groggily got up.
"I knew you were awake but chose to stay still in order not to have a fight with Princess Ruby." Dally calmly informed as she folded a piece of cloth while looking at me with a knowing smile.
"Have you had your bath, Lady Dally?" I asked instead.
"I have," she answered.
"Is my bath ready?"
"Not yet. I requested for more warm water to be brought in as we are more than one," she explained and I sighed.
I was currently in my chemise since my night gown was in one of the boxes.
"What would you like to wear for the journey today?" She went on to ask as she headed to a small carryable box she brought in for me.
"A simple dress would suffice. I want to look like a lady," I said.
