"Yet again, you miss the point, Deborah. If Ruby didn't miss it then how did you miss it?"
I blinked at his words in confusion as I got into the carriage before he followed.
"What do you mean?" I asked as he got in and closed the door before facing me with a nonchalant look.
"That is left for you to figure out," he answered and I lost it.
"How can you be like this, Peter? I agree to marry him and the least you could do is let me know who he-"
"Did I ask you to marry him in the first place?" He smoothly interjected but I didn't let him be smart about it.
"No but y-"
"Then how is it my job to tell you who he is? If I can recall correctly, you keep blaming me for Lauren just because I had introduced you to him while constantly speaking of him, so why should I repeat it? So you can blame me again if everything goes downward?" He coolly asked and I was left speechless because he wasn't lying.
