Chapter 1 - Introduction

The sky rises as it does every day, yet in Baron Molar's house, the morning felt nothing like any other…

Coughs, faint traces of blood, and whispered murmurs filled every corner.

Ashersil, the quiet and composed servant, stood silently, steadfast before his master's pain and the absurdity of the world.

"Master, please… don't lose hope. There's a way… a way out… please don't give up—"

Baron's voice cracked with anguish:

"I've lost it, Ashersil!!!"

Tears streamed down his face like heavy rain, worn out by his illness long before the disease had its full effect.

Ashersil paused, listening to his master's words.

He turned his gaze to the ground, his steps heavy yet quiet, burdened but without a single tear.

He opened the door and stepped out, quietly closing it behind him.

Outside, he saw the Baron's wife, her hands covering her mouth, tears silently falling…

Ashersil remained standing, motionless, watching, controlled, knowing that tears would change nothing.

He left the Baron behind, silent and weighed down by sorrow.

Walking through the corridors, he finally reached the outside, staring at the sky with dead eyes, as if he had just stepped out from a funeral.

He shouted abruptly,

"Aaahhh!"

A chaotic, mixed scream of anger and despair, followed by rapid inhalations and exhalations.

He muttered to himself:

"I will find a solution… I will find a way to save my master…

And I know you're here, Jack. Show yourself!"

Jack appeared immediately, driving his car, a sly grin on his face:

"I expected you'd find out… so, how are you?"

Ashersil opened the car door quickly and jumped in:

"Take me to Count Hevar Ofilus!"

Jack froze, tense:

"Are you sure?"

Ashersil replied, his voice tight with restrained anger:

"Go… no discussion."

Jack looked at him, feeling the fury radiating from Ashersil, then started the car and sped off, sighing:

"How I hate working with this man!"

They rushed toward the Count, hoping to find what they sought…
