The reporter, standing amid the ruins, looked pale—

He grabbed his phone and immediately dialed the boss's private number.
"Sorry… for disturbing you so late~," he stammered.
"Boss, have you seen the news?"
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?!"
His hands trembled as he spoke—
he was so distressed he was on the verge of tears.
After a moment of silence,
Renjie's voice finally came through the phone.
"Ah, Hammer. I was just about to tell you."
"Your house… I accidentally blew it up. You're not angry, are you?"
His tone sounded a little strange.
There was also the faint sound of running water—
he was probably in the bathroom.
"Great! Absolutely fantastic!"
"I was just thinking of doing that myself! You did the right thing—perfectly right!"
"I'm going to buy up the surrounding properties too,
and build a private amusement park for Young Master Clark!"
Hammer clutched the phone with both hands, tears streaming down his face—
his body trembling with pure, financial heartbreak.
Hundreds of millions.
U.S. dollars!
Gone in an instant—reduced to nothing!
Even Tony Stark wouldn't burn money like this!
Laughter came from the other end of the line.
It was Android 18's voice.
"I know this isn't exactly fair to you, but you're not allowed to tell anyone."
"I've already had Android 21 send you the blueprints for the Rocket Satellite Project."
"Go set up a space exploration company. Same rules—
you take thirty percent."
Renjie truly felt bad about Hammer's loss.
So he simply handed over the designs for long-range rockets and super satellites.

he was just laying the groundwork a little earlier.

Hammer froze for a second.
Then an overwhelming surge of ecstasy crashed over him,
leaving him completely at a loss for words.

Renjie ended the call in a hurry.
