048 Transferring Red Queen
The Transcendence System was Marcus's biggest trump card, but he didn't blindly rely on it.
Take the T-virus as an example: if he relied on the Transcendence System to remove its side effects, it would cost a full 10,000 life points.
Did Marcus have 10,000 life points?
Even if he did, would he be willing to use them to remove the T-virus's side effects?
The answer was no.
If he had 10,000 life points, the first thing Marcus would do would be to spend 1,130 life points to elevate his four-dimensional attributes, thus transforming himself into the extraordinary realm!
As for the remaining 8,000-plus life points?
Wouldn't it be better to save them?
Life points are incredibly valuable; they can basically solve any problem.
If life points can't solve a problem, then it's definitely because he doesn't have enough!
"Hahaha!" Marcus smiled with satisfaction when he received feedback from the Transcendence System confirming that the T-virus, whose side effects had been removed by the Main God, also worked on Alicia.
"Well done!" Marcus patted Alex's arm. "If you want to go to the Resident Evil world again, you can mention my name, and I'll have Red Queen help you out."
Alex quickly thanked him. "Thank you, Mr. Foster."
"Alright, I have other things to do. See you again sometime." Marcus waved his hand, then left the Main God Space with his group of Terminators.
After Marcus left, Jake asked telepathically, "Main God, who exactly is he?"
Jake was a semi-Guide, and he now possessed some of the Main God's authority.
The Main God responded telepathically, "That is a Transcendent. Specific information is classified. Would you like to spend an SSS-level side quest and 100,000 points to learn more?"
Jake rolled his eyes.
If he had 100,000 points and an SSS-level side quest, could he still stay in the Main God Space?
Are you kidding me!
However, Jake remembered that Marcus could freely leave and enter the Main God Space. He was now a semi-Guide, and this identity was destined to be tragic.
Jake wasn't afraid of death, he was afraid of...
"That Mr. Foster's identity is probably not simple!" Sarah sighed. "If we have the chance to enter the Resident Evil world again in the future, I think we'll be very lucky!"
Alex echoed, "I think so too. By the way, how much reward did you get?"
"Of course I can't tell you!" Sarah chuckled.
...
Resident Evil world, the Hive, Red Queen's server room.
Marcus had just returned and called out, "Red Queen."
"Hello, Mr. Foster, welcome back." Red Queen welcomed him.
"How long was I gone?" Marcus asked.
"17 minutes and 23 seconds." Red Queen's answer was very accurate.
"So short..." Marcus was a little surprised. When he left the Terminator world and then re-entered it, almost ten years had passed.
"By the way, are the Hive's laboratories still working properly?" Marcus asked.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Foster, all of the Hive's laboratories have been contaminated. Until they are thoroughly cleaned and repaired, all laboratories cannot be used normally," Red Queen responded.
Marcus frowned slightly. "Can James and his team handle the restoration of the Hive?"
"No. Restoring the Hive requires highly specialized personnel. If we were to bring in staff from North American headquarters, it would take approximately three months to restore the Hive," Red Queen replied truthfully.
"Mr. Foster, what do you need the Hive for?" Red Queen inquired.
Marcus didn't answer immediately. He asked, "What's the situation in Raccoon City?"
"The T-virus outbreak continues. According to my monitoring and calculations, the number of infected dogs in Raccoon City has exceeded one thousand, and the number of infected cats may even reach two thousand," Red Queen listed the specific data.
"What about the infected humans?" Marcus pressed.
"The number of infected humans has exceeded ten thousand, with a rough estimate of over twelve thousand, mostly caused by infected dogs and cats," Red Queen explained.
"What's the situation in the quarantine zone?" Marcus continued to inquire.
"Our company's security forces, combined with the US military's capabilities, are currently maintaining stability in the quarantine zone. However, based on data analysis, I believe the T-virus has already spread out of Raccoon City," Red Queen stated, revealing a terrifying situation.
"Bird-borne T-virus carriers?" Marcus guessed.
"Yes, Mr. Foster," Red Queen confirmed Marcus's guess, then continued, "Mr. Foster, Mr. Wesker is contacting you. Do you want to answer?"
Marcus nodded, and Wesker's voice came through the earpiece.
"Mr. Foster, are you still at the Hive?" Wesker asked.
"Yes," Marcus replied affirmatively. "What is it?"
"There is indeed something important. The US government has just approved the proposal for a tactical nuclear strike. They have decided to use small tactical nuclear weapons to strike Raccoon City, thereby completely destroying the T-virus," Wesker responded.
Marcus paused, not immediately responding to Wesker, but instead focusing his thoughts on checking the logs of the Transcendence System.
...
'Congratulations! The host altered the Umbrella Corporation's use of a tactical nuclear missile to strike Raccoon City, shifting the proposal to the US military, thus causing a slight ripple in the River of Fate, granting the system 1 life point.'
...
Marcus was speechless!
"Mr. Foster, the US military has made their decision, and we cannot change it. The small tactical nuclear missile will be launched in three hours. Please leave the Hive in advance. I have prepared an evacuation plan in the eastern quarantine zone. Please arrive within two hours and forty minutes." Wesker noticed Marcus's lack of response and reminded him again.
"Although the Hive is deep underground, in case of an accident, Mr. Foster will be in great danger. Therefore, Mr. Foster, please be sure to evacuate from the Hive." Wesker reminded him again.
"I understand. Notify the quarantine zone to speed up the inspection. I will arrive as soon as possible," Marcus replied.
"Okay." Wesker breathed a sigh of relief.
"Red Queen, do you want to stay in the Hive, or leave with me?" Marcus asked.
"Everything according to Mr. Foster's arrangements," Red Queen replied.
Marcus considered for a moment before speaking. "I hope you'll come with me."
"Okay," Red Queen agreed, then added, "Which branch are we going to?"
The Umbrella Corporation has branches all over the world—Paris, London, Tokyo, the Kamchatka Peninsula—they all have branches.
"Besides the Hive, which branch has the most complete T-virus research equipment?" Marcus countered.
"North American headquarters," Red Queen answered truthfully.
"Then let's go to North American headquarters," Marcus decided.
Marcus currently possesses three improved T-viruses, and he plans to use them to gain even greater profits!
