052 Little Brother, I Want It! I Want Life Points Too!
Although Wesker smashed through the high-strength bulletproof glass isolation observation room with two punches, his right fist was also covered in wounds.
However, those wounds were healing at a visible speed!
Wesker didn't stop. After he broke a gap in the high-strength bulletproof glass, the rest was simple. Wesker took a few steps back and then kicked the gap.
"Crash!"
A large number of bulletproof glass fragments fell down.
In less than a minute, Wesker escaped from the high-strength bulletproof glass isolation observation room. The strength he displayed was almost comparable to Alice's.
Of course, Wesker didn't have any psychic or telekinetic abilities!
Marcus looked at Wesker's right fist. "Does it hurt?"
Wesker nodded. "There is some pain, but the T-virus seems to reduce this pain. I can bear it completely."
"You will cooperate with Red Queen for a check-up in a while. I need all your data," Marcus instructed.
Wesker hesitated for a second, his gaze sweeping over the two Terminator T-1000s and three Terminator T-800s, before immediately agreeing, "Yes, Mr. Foster, as you wish."
Initially, Marcus had deliberately exposed the Terminator T-1000s' identities for this very reason.
Now that Wesker possessed the power of the T-virus, his mindset was indeed a little swayed, but considering the existence of the liquid metal robots like the Terminator T-1000s, Wesker felt like a complete fool.
"Red Queen, you thoroughly examine Wesker. White Queen, you and Red Queen cooperate in the examination," Marcus instructed.
Then Marcus added, "Red Queen, you should know what I mean, right?"
Marcus's cryptic approach immediately startled Wesker. As a high-ranking employee of Umbrella Corporation, Wesker knew very well that Umbrella was not a benevolent organization.
Now that Marcus and Red Queen were playing cryptic games, who knew if Red Queen would dissect him for in-depth research?
"Mr. Foster, I... you..." Wesker trailed off.
Marcus laughed loudly. "Wesker, Wesker, you think Red Queen and I are plotting to harm you?"
'Isn't that what's happening?' Wesker could only think to himself.
"Number Two, Number Three, take down Wesker, but don't hurt him," Marcus ordered.
The two Terminator T-1000s immediately moved. Wesker, of course, wasn't going to surrender easily. He clenched his fists and tried to attack the Terminator T-1000s, but the force that could shatter high-strength bulletproof glass had almost no effect on them.
"Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!"
Wesker punched the Terminator T-1000 again and again, like hitting rubber, producing only dull thuds and little else.
Not only that, the Terminator T-1000s even transformed into liquid metal, wrapping around Wesker's arms and spreading upwards.
Seconds later, Wesker was enveloped by the Terminator T-1000, completely immobilized. He couldn't break free and could only watch helplessly as Marcus appeared.
Marcus casually said, "If I wanted to kill you, I could simply give the order. You have absolutely no ability to resist. So, do you understand now?"
Cold sweat poured down Wesker's forehead. He had been highly vigilant against the Terminator T-1000, but was he still powerless to resist?
"My instruction to Red Queen was to have her thoroughly examine your condition, because I still have this T-virus. I'm preparing to save Alicia," Marcus revealed his final answer.
Red Queen was also one of Marcus's targets!
However, obtaining Red Queen's highest authority required too many life points. Marcus needed to unlock things step by step to reduce the number of life points required to obtain Red Queen's highest authority.
For example, saving Alicia—Marcus had already tested and found that Alicia's life safety held the highest authority within Red Queen's core underlying restrictions.
Therefore, Marcus wanted to save Alicia to more easily obtain Red Queen's highest authority.
Wesker looked at Marcus in shock. "Mr. Foster, are you sure?"
"It seems you know Alicia too," Marcus added. "Of course I'm sure!"
"But... but..." Wesker wanted to say that Alicia and Dr. Isaacs weren't on the same side; in fact, they were bitter enemies. Dr. Isaacs insisted on destroying the world, but Alicia had always opposed it.
If Dr. Isaacs hadn't incited the board members, the Hive's T-virus leak probably wouldn't have happened.
"Alright, no buts!" Marcus snorted coldly. "Wesker, remember, you're just an employee of Umbrella Corporation!"
Wesker understood Marcus's meaning. Whether it was Alicia, Marcus, or Dr. Isaacs, they were all at the highest levels of Umbrella Corporation.
A clash between the three of them was like a battle of titans!
What was Wesker, a mere subordinate, doing getting involved?
"I understand. I'll follow Mr. Foster's arrangements," Wesker said with a double meaning, implying that he would work for Marcus from now on.
Marcus nodded noncommittally. "Alright, you cooperate with Red Queen in the testing. I'll remember your contribution, and Alicia will remember it too."
Wesker breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Mr. Foster."
"Red Queen, White Queen, the rest is up to you. I'll arrange for Number Two and Number Three to assist you. You can give them orders," Marcus instructed.
Red Queen asked, "Should I take the lead, or should White Queen take the lead?"
Marcus smiled and replied, "Of course, you should take the lead."
"Thank you, Mr. Foster," Red Queen said happily.
White Queen didn't offer any opinion. White Queen's authority within Umbrella Corporation was relatively low; she was only in charge of the North American headquarters. Red Queen was in charge of the other headquarters and branches.
According to the original Resident Evil storyline, White Queen only appeared once in Resident Evil: Extinction, suggesting that her status and authority were probably not high.
While Red Queen and White Queen were testing Wesker, Marcus checked the logs of the Transcendence System. The Transcendence System had just issued a notification, which Marcus hadn't checked immediately.
'Congratulations! The host has completely reversed Wesker's fate, pulling him out of the cycle of being infected by the mutant T-virus. The River of Fate has experienced a significant fluctuation, and the system has gained 50 life points.'
Marcus checked the log records of the system, secretly pleased. Although the River of Fate in the Resident Evil world had gradually calmed down, Wesker still wielded considerable influence within it.
"Not bad, not bad, this double blessing feels great!" Marcus thought with satisfaction.
After all, Wesker had actively sought to become his subordinate and had even managed to save his life, so how could he not be satisfied?
