Chapter 56 - 056 T-virus Spread

056 T-virus Spread

"Congratulations! The host has successfully attacked Team Delta, the execution team of the Main God Space, causing a relatively violent fluctuation in the River of Fate of the Main God Space. The system has successfully collected 200 life points!" The Transcendence System issued a reminder.

"200 life points!" Marcus was secretly surprised.

200 life points in a single instance is a huge harvest!

Marcus now wished the Main God would send two more teams to mess with him.

Of course, he couldn't ask for Team Celestial and Team Demon. Those two teams were cursed. Marcus couldn't beat them now. He needed to at least survive and develop before he could think of a way to deal with them.

"Red Queen, continue to monitor abnormal situations globally," Marcus instructed.

"Okay," Red Queen replied.

"By the way, has the investigation on Wesker's situation been completed?" Marcus asked.

Red Queen and White Queen listed the relevant data at the same time. The data listed by the two artificial intelligence systems was completely consistent.

"How is the situation?" Marcus asked.

Red Queen answered first, "Mr. Wesker's condition is currently very good. The T-virus in his body is still present in an orderly manner and has not wantonly damaged Mr. Wesker's nervous system."

White Queen added, "Mr. Wesker's muscle strength is maintained at three times that of an ordinary person, his cell vitality is about five times that of an ordinary person, and his mental strength is about the same as that of an ordinary person."

Marcus asked the Transcendence System in his mind, "I want to see Wesker's four-dimensional data."

The Transcendence System directly displayed Wesker's four-dimensional data.

...

Character: Wesker

Strength: 30

Agility: 30

Constitution: 35

Spirit: 10

...

Looking at Wesker's four-dimensional data, Marcus had to admit that for a moment, he was really tempted!

Apart from mental strength, Wesker's other three-dimensional data were simply explosive. His strength reached the highest value of an ordinary human, his agility was also the highest value of an ordinary human, and more importantly, his constitution directly broke through the limits of ordinary humans, stepping into the extraordinary realm.

The so-called extraordinary realm is the realm that transcends ordinary people!

Taking strength as an example, once one surpasses the limits of ordinary people and enters the supernatural realm, one gains extraordinary power, such as easily lifting heavy objects or using heavy weapons weighing over 200 pounds.

Perhaps using strength as an example doesn't fully convey the uniqueness of supernatural power; agility provides a more direct understanding.

The fastest human sprint time is 9.58 seconds, approximately 23.35 miles per hour.

This is already the limit of human speed!

But after entering the supernatural realm, this record can be easily broken, for example, reaching 45 miles per hour, or even further increasing speed with the increase in agility.

It's not just about increasing speed, but a comprehensive improvement, including reaction time, dynamic vision, and physical coordination, ensuring adaptation to even higher speeds.

Marcus's current four-dimensional attributes are severely unbalanced: strength and agility are both 8 points, constitution reaches 9 points, and mental attribute is as high as 22 points.

However, this unbalanced situation is very suitable for the Main God-version T-virus.

The Main God-version of the T-virus cannot enhance mental attributes, while Marcus's mental attributes are his strength; the two complement each other perfectly!

However, Marcus's excitement was fleeting; he had greater ambitions.

"Wesker, can you hear me?" Marcus called out.

Wesker responded through the broadcast system, "I can hear you. Mr. Foster, what are your orders?"

"You cooperate with Red Queen and White Queen in conducting the final high-intensity test!" Marcus ordered.

Wesker hesitated slightly, "Refer to the company's tests on T-virus infected individuals?"

"Yes!" Marcus responded affirmatively, "But don't worry, we definitely won't go to the final step."

The so-called final step is attacking the head of the T-virus infected individual to determine if the T-virus has mutated to the point where it can ignore attacks on the head.

In the original Resident Evil series, Wesker reached this level!

While Red Queen and White Queen were testing Wesker, Marcus mobilized Umbrella Corporation's satellites to scan the global situation.

Although Umbrella Corporation was doing its best to control the T-virus, its spread was still like a flood, and it had already broken out on a large scale in North America.

The US and Canadian militaries are working tirelessly to control the T-virus outbreak, but to no avail.

The T-virus is a supervirus that infects not only humans but also animals and even some plants.

Human armies can control human zombies, but can they control bird zombies?

And what about the various insect zombies?

Some animal zombies have already begun to mutate; for example, bats infected with the T-virus have grown many times larger, with significantly increased vitality and attack power.

Canine and feline zombies are countless; their speed, small size, and high attack power have made a huge contribution to the spread of the T-virus.

The Umbrella Corporation's satellites are equipped with special T-virus detectors that can accurately identify T-virus infected individuals, thus marking T-virus outbreak areas worldwide.

Marcus is monitoring the global T-virus outbreak. The largest outbreak areas are in the US and Canada, two unfortunate neighbors in North America.

The second largest outbreak area isn't in South America, but in Australia!

Marcus didn't understand why it was Australia, but the epidemic in Australia was extremely serious, at least to the point of near extinction; the entire continent was marked by a scarlet epidemic zone.

"Red Queen, regarding the T-virus, our company should have developed a countermeasure against airborne transmission, right?" Marcus asked.

Dr. Isaacs had devised a plan to destroy the world, to wipe it out, but not to let zombies roam the world; a countermeasure against the T-virus was definitely necessary.

"The anti-T-virus agent for airborne transmission is under development, and it has already achieved phased success. It is expected to be completed in no more than three years," Red Queen explained.

Marcus was speechless!

"Can you speed things up?" Marcus asked tentatively.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Foster, this project's solution was personally set by Dr. Isaacs; you don't have the authority to change it," Red Queen responded.

The highest authority within the Umbrella Corporation belonged to Alicia and Dr. Isaacs himself; both had the highest level of authority and checked each other.

Marcus's authority naturally couldn't exceed Dr. Isaacs's.

If Marcus wanted to use destiny to reverse cause and effect, thereby gaining authority beyond Dr. Isaacs's, that would mean obtaining Red Queen's highest authority. Did Marcus have that many life points?

Of course not!

'It really was Isaacs behind this!' Marcus sighed inwardly.

On the surface, Marcus seemed to be in cahoots with Dr. Isaacs.

But was that really the case?
