Background Info:
In the year 2050, Humanity was thrown into chaos. Huge spaceships dedsended from the sky all over earth. And from them emerged beings humans cane to know as kaiju.
These cold blooded aliens were creatures that had intelligence that were on par with that of humans.
This discovery caused panic among humans, Normally humans have always depended on their intelligence when going against their enemies but what were they to do when their current enemies possesed intelligence that were on par with theirs.
With the invasion of the kaiju humans also discovered the existence of magic and magical beasts. These magical beasts possessed 'cores' or as humans came to call them 'beast crystal'.
These crystals when refined and reforged can be created into powerful weapons and armors. With these beast crystals and their new found magical powers, humanity was able to push the Kaiju back and chase them out of their home, but the humans knew that the kaiju would be back, after waiting several years in vain for the return of the kaiju, the humans finally relaxed on regaining back their territories from the magical beasts, so as to increase their strength and forces as they await the return of the kaiju.Â
After the discovery of magic, humans opened schools that teaches people about magic, helps them to awaken their magic array.
Though not every human has the talent to become a magician, they were all expected to attend a magic school and at the age of 18, they were to undergo their magical awakening, as humanity needed all forces they could gather as the await the return of the kaiju.
The Kaijus are a stubborn and proud race and they would not give up on taking over earth, just because the were unsuccessful on their first trial, they would just go back and gather more powerful forces. Even though the Kaiju were not as numerous as humans, they were all fighters, this gave them a natural advantage over the humans, even a small looking Kaiju, could kill a full grown ordinary human with ease, not that anyone actually knew whether they aged or not.
This magical awakening is done using a stone called the awakening crystal, derived from a special type of beast called the Aramenian beast, from then on they would become a qualified magician.

This man was Rai jin, he continues to admire the beautiful girls and women as he walked back home, after taking a ride in Mu lan's Bugatti.
As he reached his house, he took off the glasses and entered, he met the house empty as his brother must have followed his mother to her work place. After getting rid of his clothes and finding something to eat, he jumps on the old couch and stares at the ceiling.
"The Magic Awakening will be taking place next month, I pray I have the talent so I can bring my family out poverty, when I become a Mage, I will become a hunter and hunt magical beasts, so I can use the money to take care of the family " Rai jin thought as he lied down on the couch.
When one becomes a Mage/knight, they are allowed the either join the military, or to become hunters, there are also people who join none of the following, but a rule has been made that mages are not to use their powers to harm ordinary humans.
To increase their level of magic and awaken more elements of magic, Mages have to cultivate their magic array, the magic array is the Nebula that exists in a mage's body. When a person first awakens magic, the light of a beginner mage's Nebula is like the light of a fire fly, small and tiny, and beginner mages are only able to cast beginner level spells, until the energy in their nebula runs out.
To increase their levels Mages have to cultivate by absorbing the elemental affinities that exists in the air with their will into their magic array, to make it grow bigger, but this is not as simple as it sounds, it is a strenuous that takes too long, if no other means is adapted , before a beginner mage can become an intermediate mage, it would take years, and so mages use special cultivation tools made from beast crystals to cultivate faster.
There are different elements in the world with the primary ones being Fire, Ice, Wind, Water and Earth.
People awaken more elements as they evolve in grade, when a beginner mage becomes an intermediate mage, the magic array expands, from the light of a fire fly, it becomes the size of a football, and when the mage awakens his second elements, he then has enough mana to cast a number of intermediate spells.
Mages learn from spells books, the way to channel their magic, some particular formations in the spell books has to be followed before a mage can use a particular spell, some mages tend to create special magic that belongs only to them, which only them can use but in history, only one in a thousand mages has been able to do that, and this is because, to do that, they also need the help of an elemental core ability, and only a meagre number of mages acquire one.

Late at night, Rai Jin's mother came back, and Rai jin could see the gloomy look on her face, and so after his brother Rai bin had gone to sleep, he approached her to inquire from her the reason she was so down.
"Mom, what's wrong, why is your face so gloomy" raijin asked as he sat opposite his mother in their old dinning table.
"Nothing is wrong, Rai jin you worry too much" his mother replied as she quickly tried to hide the gloomy look on her face.
Rai Jin's mother 'Murana', didn't have the talent to become a mage, but Rai Jin's father did. And after he became a mage, in accordance with the love he had for his liver, he married her and they gave birth to both of their sons.
But Rai Jin's father Rai Manyan, mysteriously disappeared, three days after the birth of his second son, seven years has passed since then but still no news has been heard about him.
"I can clearly see your face mother, don't make me become like Mr Ken" Rai jin said rolling his eyes.
"Huh, Mr Ken....., isn't that your teacher?"
"Yes, he is, but don't try to change the topic"
"Hmmn" Murana breathed heavily.
" You know the rent of the house, will be due by next month and the landlord is already reminding me to make sure I pay this time around or else he will chase us out" Murana said gloomily.
"I have always told you mother,, I can get you this money anytime you want, you just have to confide in me"
"No! I don't want you to scam Mu Lan of anymore money, we will get out of this ourselves" Murana replied decisively.
" Ok mum, I promise not to, lest I forget, the magic Awakening would be taking place next month, don't worry mom, I will awaken my first element, become a hunter, then I will take good care of you and Rai bin" Rai jin proclaimed confidently.
"My son, even if you don't have the talent, I have complete faith in you"
"No mum, I will, trust me!" Rai jin declared confidently, as he banged his chest confidently.
" Ok Rai jin, now go get some sleep"Murana said yawning.
"Ok mum, goodnight".

As Rai jin lay on his bed, in his father's room which was now his, he thinks about what to do as soon as he awakens his magic.
"Uhm, When I awaken my first element,I will dupe the money idiot Mu lan, to pay for my institutional fee into high school" Rai jin thought to himself with a grin on his face.
" Then I will become a hunter as a side hustle".
Being a Mage, wasn't something that Rai jin could rush to, and he knew that perfectly well, after attending the beginner school, a mage has to attend a high school, if he/she aims to become a great mage.
Those mages who did not attend Magic high school, were usually not able to go beyond the level of intermediate, because they lack the necessary knowledge and help needed to breakthrough further, and since Rai Jin's dream was to become one of the strongest mages in the world, he could not afford not to go to a Magic high school.
As Rai jin was immersed in his thought, he felt a light rumble come from under his bed.
"Uh, what is that?" he asked himself as he jumped down from the bed.
Rai Jin's first thought was that a rat was shuffling through his father's stuff that was under the bed.
But as the rumble continues to get worse, his bed literally shaking, he decided to check it out, he cautiously tiptoed to the side of his bed and after making sure to place a big stick in arms reach,incase it turned out to be a rat, he lifted it side-ways.
As he lifted the bed, he saw different boxes, he recognised the boxes. During his childhood days, Before his father's death, he often wanders into his father's room, and ends up touching and crashing different boxes in the room, only for his father to end up chasing him out, telling him it is dangerous for him to come in contact with those boxes now.
"Dad, what are in these boxes of yours, can I play with them?" the little boy Rai jin asked his father with pouted lips.
"No my son, these boxes are very dangerous for you right now. Not to worry , when you become a mage, you will be safe enough to come in contact with them" Rai Manyan said as he patted his son on the head.
Rai jin recognised all of these boxes, as he had always checked on them, since he moved to his father's room, but still he didn't dare to open them, since his father told him he could only come in contact with them when he became a mage, he was not stupid to think, since he was of age now, he could play with them, as he knew even, a beginner mage could easily defeat the strongest mages of ordinary humans with a single spell, even without, as the body composition of a mage/knight is usually stronger.
Rai jin finally found the reason for the rumbling, because right in the centre of the other boxes, a pitch black box was constantly vibrating with a red light encapsuling it, Rai jin recognised this box as the last box his father brought home before his strange dissapearance. The night his father dissapeared mysteriously inside his room was the night he brought this so called black box home.
"Uh, why is it vibrating so much?, is it going to blow up?" Rai jin wondered as he bent down beside the box, even though the box was pulsating a red colour, it was not exuding any heat, so Rai jin was sure it wasn't going to blow up.
Rai jin noticed that the box had no lid to open it with, it only had a little red crystal like button on top of it, And so he was sure that he had to press the button to find out what was inside the box.
"Ok, here we go, if it happens to be an unstable spell, well it looks like I will be dying young, I love you mother and Rai bin, i will miss Da lu too and dammmmmn, my glasses, Mu Lan, i will never miss that idiot" Rai jin thought, as he pressed the little button with closed eyes.
"Chukum" came the sound as he pressed the button.
"Uh?, nothing is happening, is it broken or maybe I..." Rai jin was saying as he opened his eyes in confusion, he was still staring at the box puzzedly when suddenly;
"BOOM!!!!!!!!!", A great force slammed him on the wall at the end of the room as the box slowly opened.
