20: Chapter 20 First Encounter with NamiAlvida emerged from the smoke, her face grim, and asked, "Coby, who are you going to catch?"
Koby stared at Alvida, his face pale, his body trembling uncontrollably, stammering, "A.A.A.Miss Alvida."
"Koby, who is the most beautiful woman on this high seas?"
"Of course it's Asia."
"Coby, this ugly, fat old lady must be Alvida, right?" Luffy said, barely suppressing his disgust.
Suddenly, everyone in the cabin fell silent, staring wide-eyed at Luffy.Alvida, her eyes blazing with fury, roared, "You bastard, say that again if you dare!"
"I mean, you're a fat, ugly old lady, really, how could you make such a strange request?" Luffy shrugged and said ╮(﹀＿﹀)╭
Looking at the boy in the straw hat before him, Coby thought of his own dream, and mustered his courage, shouting to Alvida, "I'm going to become a Marine and then catch you, you fatso!"
Alvida could no longer contain herself.Enraged, she swung her iron bar at Coby.Coby covered his face in fear, thinking, "I don't regret it, I don't regret it.I said it, I'm fighting for my dream."
Luffy then laughed loudly and said, "That's more like it!" With that, he fired another Gum-Gum Rocket, sending Alvida back to reunite with her crew.
The remaining pirates on the ship stared in disbelief at what had just happened.They couldn't believe their captain had been knocked away.After Luffy finished, he looked at the remaining pirates and said, "Hey, you guys." The remaining pirates jumped, just about to make a run for it, when they heard "Stop!" and instantly stood there obediently, frozen in place."Hey, why are you running?Am I that scary?" Luffy stared at the group of pirates with a hint of exasperation."No, no, no, you're not scary at all.May I ask what you need?" the pirates said in unison.
"Give Koby a small boat; he wants to join the navy."
"Yes, we have one on our ship.Please feel free to use it."
"Hey, you're the captain of this ship, right?" Luffy said to an old man."These guys are yours to handle.Call the nearest Marine branch and have them come and take these pirates away."
Having said that, without waiting for the old man's reaction, he grabbed Coby and jumped onto Alvida's pirate ship.He inadvertently saw an orange-haired girl rowing a small boat forward."Isn't that Nami?" Luffy muttered, then said to Coby, "Go prepare the boat; I saw someone interesting."
"Okay, Mr.Luffy," Coby said, and Luffy used Moonwalk to quickly chase after Nami.
Nami was rowing the boat with all her might when she heard a voice from behind saying, "Hey, wait!" Nami instinctively looked up and saw a handsome boy wearing a straw hat (though not as handsome as you guys) walking on air.Before Nami could react, she saw the boy land on the deck.
"Hey, who are you?Why did you get off Alvida's pirate ship?" Luffy asked knowingly.
"Shouldn't you introduce yourself before asking someone's name?" Nami replied."Ah, excuse me, my name is Monkey D.Luffy.So, who are you?"
"My name is Nami, and I'm a pirate thief, the kind who specializes in stealing from pirates," Nami replied."Hey, isn't that still a thief?Wait, what's that?" Luffy looked ahead in horror.Nami also subconsciously turned around to look, but saw nothing.She turned back angrily, only to find that Luffy had disappeared, along with the treasure she had stolen from the pirate ship.
"Ugh, you just wait, don't let me catch you!" Nami said through gritted teeth.
