26: Chapter 26 Reencounter with NamiThe owner of that voice was naturally Nami.Nami chased after Luffy and the others with a furious expression.A few minutes earlier, Nami had found the Grand Line chart she had been dreaming of in Morgan's room.However, when she opened it, she found that the real chart had indeed been stolen by Buggy, who was known as the immortal.Just as she was about to leave for Orange Town, where Buggy was, she saw Luffy leaving the Marine base, which is why she chased after him.
"Hey, Straw Hat Boy, give me back my treasure!" Nami glared at Luffy and said angrily.Luffy didn't reply, but instead admired the girl before him."I was in a hurry last time and didn't get a good look at Nami.I didn't expect Nami to be even prettier than in the anime," Luffy thought to himself, stroking his chin.Nami noticed Luffy's strange look and was startled.Then, blushing, she crossed her arms, turned around, and scolded, "Pervert!What are you looking at?Haven't you ever seen a beautiful woman before?"
Luffy replied, "My eyes are on my face, what's it to you how I see them?So, what do you want with me?" Nami then realized what was happening and turned around, saying, "Give me back my treasure right now, it's mine!"
Luffy feigned ignorance, saying, "Treasure?What treasure?Don't talk nonsense." Nami, annoyed by his nonchalant attitude, gritted her teeth in exasperation."Don't play dumb with me.You took it.There were only the two of us on the ship at the time.Who else could it be?"
"Oh, right, I took it.What can you do to me?╮(﹀＿﹀)╭," Luffy said calmly."You.(▼皿▼#)"
Ignoring Nami's expression, Luffy continued walking forward with Zoro and Koby.Nami, realizing what was happening, ran ahead to block their path, saying, "You're not leaving today unless you return my treasure!"
Luffy grinned mischievously and instantly appeared behind Nami.Before Nami could react, everything went black, and she fainted.Luffy looked at the unconscious Nami and said, "Don't worry, she'll wake up in a bit." Then, the three of them left without looking back."Aaaaaaah, damn it!" Nami woke up a while later, exclaiming in frustration."But how did he get behind me so quickly?I wonder if he's any different from Arlong." Nami shook her head vigorously, banishing the unrealistic thought from her mind."I'm not related to him at all, and he's so annoying, why would he help me?"
Meanwhile, Luffy and his companions returned to Rika's restaurant to inform everyone that Morgan had been defeated.The tavern's patrons cheered and celebrated their liberation from Morgan's rule.After enjoying a hearty meal and replenishing their supplies, Luffy and his friends left.Of course, Luffy secretly left some money behind.By the time Rika and her daughter discovered this, it was too late; Luffy and his crew had already made their way out.
When Luffy and his companions arrived at the port, Zoro looked at the small boat in front of him speechlessly and said, "Seriously, you dare to go out to sea in a boat like this?" Luffy, on the other hand, said nonchalantly, "Well, things will work out in the end.I'll definitely have a proper pirate ship someday."
Zoro sighed and rubbed his forehead, saying, "How could I have chosen to follow a captain like this?" Coby, standing behind him, said, "That's just how Luffy is.Don't let his carefree attitude fool you; he's actually more thoughtful than anyone else."
"Alright, brothers, let's set sail and head towards our next destination."
