Prologue – The Name That Should Not Be Spoken

On a starless night, when the moon hid behind thick gray clouds, the residents of Hollow Creek remembered something that had never been completed for hundreds of years.

The forest was not just a place; it was a living entity, breathing slowly, remembering everyone who dared to enter.

The dark trunks stretching skyward seemed like long fingers, reaching for any stranger who dared to come near.

The ground was littered with decaying leaves, dampness seeping into every corner, and the air carried a faint metallic scent that could not be explained, mingled with the smell of old wood and wet earth.

In 1893, the villagers attempted a ritual to drive away the evil from the forest.

But the ritual failed, and something awoke.

It did not come to forgive…

It came to watch.

The entity that was summoned could not be seen with ordinary eyes.

It was merely a shadow shaped by fear and buried guilt.

Its name was only ever whispered in the old manuscripts—a single word that sent shivers down the spine:

"Noctyrr."

Its influence was not limited to those who entered the forest.

Even those who stayed away felt the weight of the name in their dreams, in an unexplainable silence, whispers slipping into their ears when they thought they were alone.

Legend says:

Whoever hears the name can no longer ignore the darkness.

Whoever sees it will never return as they once were.

The night in Hollow Creek was never peaceful again.

Shadows began to move on their own, the trees leaning as if they were watching every breath.

And since that night, the name that must not be spoken became both a weapon and a curse—and a promise:

Noctyrr shows no mercy… but is always silent, always present.
