Liliana stepped closer to Anna's desk, her expression calm but her eyes revealing calculation. She slowly opened her handbag, took out a stack of photos, and placed them on the desk in front of Anna. The photos had been taken from subtle, clear angles, impossible to mistake.
Anna took the photos coldly, but as she began looking through them one by one, her expression quickly changed. Her normally icy eyes darkened, flashes of anger appearing deep within them. In the photos, Emma and Ricard were standing very close to each other, intimate enough that any outsider would think there was a special relationship between them.
Anna felt as though her chest were being compressed, her breathing becoming quick and uncomfortable. Her hand tightened around the photos, and the pictures began to wrinkle under the force of her uncontrollable anger. Her fingers dug into the edges, nearly tearing them apart.
"Damn it!" Anna shouted, her voice echoing through the room.
