The irritation Anna had felt when she saw Emma close to Ricard had now turned into burning rage. Clearly, Emma knew exactly what she was doing and who she was targeting.
Anna opened her eyes, her hands clenching tightly, her nails digging into her palms, though she felt no pain.
"Emma planned this from the beginning," Anna muttered, her voice full of bitterness. "That girl is neither innocent nor accidental. Everything was a plan to steal Ricard from me."
Suddenly, everything seemed to become clear in Anna's mind. Emma was not the simple girl Anna had once thought she was. Step by step, she had moved closer to Ricard, even faster than Anna could have imagined. She had used every opportunity, from "chance" encounters to appearances at important events, all just to capture Ricard's attention, and perhaps even his heart.
Anna gritted her teeth, the rage inside her rising stronger than ever.
