Emma froze, her eyes widening in surprise. The sudden arrival of the reporters left her no time to react. They surrounded her, camera flashes constantly blinding her, and the barrage of questions made her dizzy.
Before Emma could say anything, Jackson quickly stepped forward from behind her, standing in front of her like a solid shield. He used his body to block the reporters from getting too close, his voice calm but firm. "Please keep your distance. Everything needs to be handled with respect."
The press continued asking questions nonstop.
"Jackson, does Miss Emma plan to expand this program?"
"Is this a cooperation plan with Anna's hospital?"
Emma tried to calm herself, but her eyes could not help being drawn to the people who had just entered behind the reporters. It was Anna, holding Ricard's arm, and beside them were Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, a perfect family portrait in front of the media.
