The blonde girl stood there with a powerful alpha aura. Her piercing gaze was fixed on the three rogues who, ever since I was taken hostage, had tormented me countless times.
Today was the worst, and I couldn't escape or defend myself.
Her arrival was like an oasis in the desert. Although I couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment that it wasn't my mates who came to my rescue, at least I would be free of them. My pup would be okay.
"Lav… are you okay?" she asked—after successfully defeating those damn rogues—as she approached me, who was on the verge of losing consciousness. I couldn't answer her question except with a forced smile. "I'll get you out of here."
She tried to untie the ropes binding my hands and feet, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break them.
