In the year of 2056, on a beautiful planet called Hearth. In a world full of brightness, with the moon and the sun shining on each other day and night. in a big city,There was a lot of activity. "Come on! Buy the chicken while it's 50% off!" a man was selling. "You won't believe the news today!" a reporter was doing a live broadcast in a cafe. The atmosphere was lively and peaceful. Then, in the suburbs with many different red-tiled houses, a boy ran. a boy was running. White-skinned, black-haired with a few strands of blue, eyes as blue as the sea and a slim but curvy body. He wore a school uniform of a white shirt and light blue pants and black shoes. He was running along the roadside to school.
"Come on... come on... Mrs. Rasha will scold me!" he said, panicking.
With so many people on the street, he bumped into a fruit vendor. "THUD!" The boy fell along with the fruit vendor.
"Ouch..." he stood up and immediately ran.
"HEY! YOUNG MAN! CAN YOU SHOW A LITTLE SHAME?!" the fruit vendor shouted as he got up.
"SORRY, SIR! BUT I'M IN A HURRY!" he said, continuing to run and soon arriving at his school.
[My name is Sora Kagena, I'm 17 years old, and I'm about to graduate from high school. I grew up in an ordinary family, neither rich nor poor. I'm running today because I'm always late. I always set my alarm, but for some reason I'm always late? Maybe it's just my destiny.]
The boy ran and reached the school gate which was about to close. The school looked magnificent with its black fences. Kagena kept running and immediately jumped over the fence. "WHUSSH!!!" He jumped over the fence and landed.
"Phew... I'm right on time..." he said, panting and tired.
Kagena started walking and looked up at the sky with a confused face, wondering why he was always late but there was the sound of silent footsteps from the side and "THUD!" a ruler hit Kagena and a black-haired woman in black clothes wearing shoes looked annoyed.
"Oh... where have you been? It's been more than 5 seconds..." the woman said angrily to Kagena while pointing the ruler at his face.
"he- HEY! Mrs. Rasha... I... well, look, I-"
"trying to reason?"
Kagena's words were cut off by Mrs. Rasha's annoyance.
"You know that being late is very bad, because this is the 6th time I have received a report about my beloved 'STUDENT' being late." Mrs. Rasha smiled irritably as she brought her face closer to Kagena.
"WEL- WELL, HEAR ME OUT, MY ALARM-"
"There is no forgiveness, if you are late again, your parents will be called."
and again, with those words, Mrs. Rasha immediately turned around and walked towards the other class she was teaching.
"Ye- yes... ma'am..." Kagena resignedly.
Kagena immediately rushed to his class.
'DRRNNNNGGG' The class bell rang, the sound of footsteps as he climbed the second floor and arrived there. Then, he walked through the hallway and entered the classroom door on his left. As soon as he arrived at the front of the class, his friends were laughing at him for being late again. Some were laughing, while others were sighing in disappointment. Kagena then went and sat on the chair on the far left in the back row.
"Late again? I told you not to drink coffee all the time," said Reva, Kagena's deskmate. A young man who was dressed the same as him, had white skin, purple pupils, spiky black hair and several strands of purple hair.
"Cut it out, stupid" Kagena reprimanded Reva while holding his shoulders in annoyance.
Kagena started to pull out his chair and put his bag underneath and was about to sit down... "BAM!" he fell to the floor, his chair had been pulled out by Reva. Reva giggled while pretending not to see.
"REVA YOU BASTARD! YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME OR WHAT!?" Kagena was annoyed while standing and scolding Reva while clenching his fists.
"At least try to fight your lateness first, then fight me," Reva shrugged casually
"HUH? ALRIGHT, TIME TO-"
"I heard screaming."
An old man, with gray hair, wearing a long-sleeved brown shirt and long trousers, carrying a textbook, was standing in front of the entrance door. With a tense aura and panic, Kagena immediately trembled and slowly looked towards the teacher.
"He- HELLO! MR. ZAX! GOOD MORNING!" Kagena trembled with fear. . His face became increasingly panicked as he pulled back his chair.
"Rule number 23: if there is a student who acts wildly without reason, he can be punished. You understand that, right... '
Mr. Kagena?'" Mr. Zax stared right through him while adjusting his glasses.
"Ye- yes... I know..." Kagena nodded with a heavy heart while closing his eyes and then sitting on his chair while Reva laughed beside his.
Mr. Zax began to walk into the room, his aura oppressing the students with every step. He took a seat at the front desk.
"Okay, kids, this time we will open the material about 'spirit'. Open page 230 in your textbooks." Mr. Zax lowered his bag and took out a large book that said "Flow" on the cover.
"Sir, didn't you say there was homework earlier?" a student asked Mr. Zax.
"Oh yeah, homework, I almost forgot. Okay, open your books and I'll check." Mr. Zax took a red pen from his pencil case with a grim expression on his face.
"Oh shit- Well, I haven't done it yet..." Kagena panicked while pretending to be ready.
"Well well well, should I tell Mr. Zax if you haven't finished your homework?" Reva played with his pen with a mischievous expression while smiling.
"If you do that, I swear to god I'm gonna kill you" Kagena put on a cold, annoyed expression with the threat while clenching his right fist.
As Kagena said that, a sensation, a hand gripping his right shoulder tightly. Kagena felt a heavy, gripping aura and when he turned around..
"I guessed you hadn't finished your homework, huh? Then..." Mr. Zax tightened his grip while narrowing his eyes while Kagena's heart was racing and the panic on his face was getting more and more visible.
"Well... I-" Kagena's words were interrupted by Mr. Zax. "Your homework will be added 10 times!!!" Mr. Zax shouted at Kagena while hitting his head with his right fist and Kagena immediately felt pain and held his head with both of his hands. "OUCH!!!"
"No second chances" Mr. Zax stepped forward and returned to his seat. Meanwhile, Reva held back his laughter, covering his mouth with his left hand. Kagena turned to him with an annoyed expression.
"Pfftt" Reva held back his laughter.
"YOU-" Kagena wanted to punch Reva but immediately a ruler coated with yellow energy passed right through Kagena's face and "BAK!" the ruler stuck to the wall without cracking.
"Mr. Kagena... Make any more noise and I'll kick you out of class right now." With a loud voice, Mr. Zax stared at Kagena sharply and then lowered his arm.
"Ye- yes..." Kagena gave up and sat back on his chair.
Finally, class begins, and every student studies quietly and orderly while Kagena and Reva gain experiences and adventures they have never experienced before. This is the beginning of their struggle to face this world. THE ADVENTURE HAS JUST BEGUN!!!
