Chapter 3 - chapter 3- Flying Dragon Platform

"Oh, it's Yang Wei! What a coincidence, you also came to the dining hall to eat," Xia Ping greeted Yang Wei.

Yang Wei clenched his teeth and said, "This is not a coincidence, I came here specifically to look for you."

"Look for me specifically? What for?" Xia Ping blinked his pure and honest eyes.

"What do you mean 'look for me'?!" Seeing this guy act like nothing happened, Yang Wei's nose was crooked with anger. He was furious: "Don't pretend to be ignorant with me. Don't think I forgot what happened in class just a moment ago!"

He glared at Xia Ping as if he wished to eat him alive — it was because this shameless bastard had given him a nickname. After he returned to class, he was treated differently by other students.

This feeling was extremely uncomfortable, as if he had become some rare animal. Hearing whispers from surrounding students made him feel they were ridiculing him.

Because of this, he hated Xia Ping more and more. If he didn't beat this bastard up, he wouldn't feel any release from his hatred.

"Today's classroom incident?" Xia Ping seemed to recall, "Oh, so that's it. You came to apologize to me. Actually, you didn't have to be so polite. I didn't take that matter to heart." He waved his hand, appearing very generous.

"Who said I came here to apologize? Don't give me such wishful thinking!" Yang Wei angrily snorted. Xia Ping had mocked him, given him a nickname, and caused him to be humiliated, ridiculed by other students.

He hadn't even made this guy apologize yet, and this bastard actually thought he came to apologize. This brat's self-importance had limits!

"Then if you didn't come to apologize, did you come here to invite me to eat?" Xia Ping blinked.

"Nonsense! Who would want to invite a shameless wretch like you to eat? Even if I fed the food to a dog, I would not invite you, bastard," Yang Wei was so angry he couldn't even speak clearly. He didn't know how to interact with this bastard.

"Shut up!" At that moment, a two-meter-tall robust young man walked out, strong as a black bear, like a small mountain, giving off deadly pressure. He stared at Xia Ping and sneered, "You think that by looking around you can cover your mistake? Poor grades yet you learned to master the art of debate?"

"Didn't your parents teach you what

politeness is? Just casually giving others a nickname and shaming classmates in the classroom — is that your family education?!" His words were very venomous.

"The only thing my parents taught me in my eighteen years of life," Xia Ping narrowed his eyes and stared at the two-meter tall man, "is tit for tat!"

The robust man clenched his fist, cracking knuckles, revealing ferocious white teeth: "Interesting. You actually dare tit for tat — you have guts. But I don't know if you truly have the ability."

"Our martial way resolves contradictions simply — we fight. The strong are honored! You and I will go to the Flying Dragon Platform and fight. If you beat me, this matter is over. We won't trouble you again. What do you think?" He pointed to the Fighting Platform.

Fight?! Xia Ping's eyes flashed. In this world martial arts were prosperous; every student understood martial arts. Especially young students, full of vigor and vitality — if words weren't exchanged, fights would start spontaneously, causing serious conflicts at school.

To solve this, the school established the Flying Dragon Platform, so students with disagreements could fight openly and properly, venting their anger. Naturally, some students would also go there to practice sparring.

Because of this, private fights were strictly forbidden by the school. Once discovered, no matter the status, the student would be immediately dismissed and expelled.

Therefore, this robust man did not dare openly find trouble with Xia Ping. He could only invite him to the Flying Dragon Platform to compete.

Soon, a group looking for trouble with Xia Ping was noticed by nearby students, who all looked over.

"Look, it seems someone wants to fight on the Flying Dragon Platform — a good show to watch."

"That tall guy isn't Bear Tyrant?! The one from Third Year Class Six, nickname Black Bear? Martial Apprentice 5th Heavenly Layer, with innate divine strength and power exceeding a thousand catties?!"

"Yes, that's the Black Bear. He goes crazy and is unbeatable. Several students who fought him on the Flying Dragon Platform had 5–6 ribs broken and couldn't take care of themselves for a whole month."

"Really terrifying. If that kid gets targeted by Bear Tyrant, he's truly unlucky for three generations."

Many students discussed excitedly, looking at Xia Ping's expression with glee.

"What's wrong? Scared?" Bear Tyrant clenched his fist and stared at Xia Ping. "If you kneel down and beg for mercy now, even if you pass from between my pants, I might forgive you once. But only once. If you still aren't convinced, I'll punch you again and again until you can't take care of yourself for three months."

"Scared?" Xia Ping smiled, "Do I fear you, big silly?!"

Big silly?! This made the surrounding students dumbfounded. Even Yang Wei was confused — did this guy know what he was saying?! Bear Tyrant was a Martial Apprentice 5th Heavenly Layer martial artist with terrifying strength.

"Xia Ping!" Bear Tyrant's nostrils flared with anger, his eyes red. No one dared call him "big silly," and if someone did, they would've been sent to the hospital already. But this brat dared say it.

"What matter have you agreed to on the Flying Dragon Platform?" Xia Ping said indifferently.

Yang Wei immediately said, "I agree — as long as you agree with big brother Bear, then this matter is over. We absolutely won't trouble you again."

Regarding this, he simply hoped Xia Ping would be taught a lesson on the Flying Dragon Platform and suffer. The more miserable he became, the more satisfied Yang Wei was.

"Okay, I agree. When is the time decided?" Xia Ping asked, unconcerned. It seemed he wanted to gain benefits in the Super Hatred System, needing hatred points.

"But these hatred points can only be obtained from enemies. The more enemies you create, the more hatred points you can obtain," Xia Ping thought.

"Very good." Bear Tyrant stared at Xia Ping. "Let's set it at 4:30 PM — just thirty minutes after school ends. I hope you don't run away when the time comes, or I'll be very angry and the consequences will be serious."

With that said, he gave Xia Ping one last warning, then left the dining hall with Yang Wei and the others.
