I was born as the different one, the one who was neglected, the one who was only remembered when a bad example was needed. I was a princess, more or less. I was hated by everyone around me, I was despised. I was Ae-Chan, the water dragon. the only water dragon in a world where fire dragons ruled. I was the third child of the royal family and they hate me, hate me for a power i didn't choose.
Our realm was spilt into two, at least i knew two divisions. the dragons and the serpents. we are distant cousins but also mortal enemies. Aside our differences they have their history and we have ours.
The story as i was told was that in the beginning, dragons controlled the four elements and the four tribes lived together in peace. Until, the water tribe began to seek more power and delivered us up to the serpents and the air and earth tribe were destroyed. it was Astrogon, the fire dragon hero who stopped them. After that, all water dragons were annihilated and haven't appeared for generations.
Until i came out of nowhere, a princess, born with the traitor element. Why did it have to be me.
So, long story short. i have been bullied, ostracized and avoided my whole life and have very few things to be happy about in life. Among the few is my room which i am lucky to have. It has the best view of the kingdom. Two, is the garden in the palace. it makes being alone not so bad . And finally mom. The only member of the family who even looked my way. One time she tried to hug me on my birthday, but father ordered her to stop and step away. so i didn't get a hug, but i know that my mummy still care.
Lest i forget, let me introduce my family,. First there's father, the king and leader of the whole land. He's mean and tall, but has a short temper . And then there's mom, she's sweet and soft although I'm not allowed to get too close to her. Finally there's the twins, Xiao Xi and Xiao Mu. My siblings and the biggest bullies i know.
So basically, Miss diary, I am writing down the story of how my life is going and my life will be for as long as your pages don't run out.
