"Ahh!~

"A..ahnn..haa"

"Y-es...mhnn~"

A squelching noise followed by melodic moaning and heavy breathing, filled the room.

"Mhm..ahh~"

The sound coming from the woman lying naked in a king-sized bed, writhing in pleasure.

"A..ahnn..haa"

Her curvy body arched back as her head rocked from intense pleasure, one arm clutching the bed sheet while the other moved vigorously inside the covers, nearing her release.

*Crash*

*Thud!*

The sudden noise startled the woman, interrupting her activity and making her furious.

"Fuck it! I'm going to kill that useless servant!"

The woman angrily threw off the covers and slipped into her night robe, hastily covering her body.

She stormed out, yanking the door open with force, and was about to head downstairs when a man suddenly appeared at the far end of the corridor leading to the stairs.

He wore a black leather jacket, worn-out boots, and black pants.

He was undeniably attractive, exactly her type.

Under different circumstances, she might have even invited him to spend the night with her and continue the vigorous activity together.

But his face, splattered with blood, washed those thoughts away.

"Choi Tae-hee."

He spoke her name deliberately and slowly, every word dripping with unmistakable hatred.

Choi Tae-hee froze.

Every instinct screamed at her to run, to turn around, to do anything, but her body refused to obey. Her legs were rooted in place.

"W-who… who are you?" she stammered, her voice trembling despite her attempt to sound firm.

The man didn't answer.

He took a step forward and started walking slowly toward her.

"D-don't come any closer!" she snapped, taking an unsteady step back. "Do you even know who I am? I'm the beloved daughter of Choi Gwan-dhuk. If you do anything stupid, you're dead!"

He stopped making her breathe a sigh of relief.

"…Heh."

The man let out a low chuckle. His lips curved upward before breaking into uncontrolled, maniacal laughter that echoed throughout the hallway.

"HAHAHAHA!"

Choi Tae-hee's skin prickled. The sound crawled under her flesh, sending a cold shiver down her spine.

"That was… funny." He lifted a hand and wiped at his eye, as though brushing away tears from laughing too hard, though his eyes remained dead.

"I'll give you a chance." He paused. "...For making me laugh."

He raised the knife slightly, the fresh blood catching the dim light.

"Five seconds."

His gaze locked onto hers, unblinking, watching her like a predator.

"Run… NOW."

Choi Tae-hee turned and hastily opened her door, slamming it shut behind her. She looked around, trying to find something to cover the door.

Her eyes swept to the wooden cabinet at the side, and frantically shoved the items on top of it before pushing it, but it barely budged. Before she could do anything, the door flung open, making her scream in terror as the man lunged at her, yanking her hair roughly and pulling her face close to his.

She winced from the pain.

"Hell knows how long I waited for this day."

He growled before throwing her to the floor like a rag doll.

"Argh!" She yelled in pain her back took a hard hit. The man didn't even let her breathe as his hand found its way around her neck gripping it hard, choking her.

Her hands tried to pry his grip away, but the lack of oxygen made it hard for her to even fight back.

The man stabbed the knife in her abdomen, again, and again and again and again.

Blood sprayed toward him, the floor now filled with it, but the man didn't mind as madness took over him.

"HAHAHAHA"

He stood up before letting out a maniacal laugh as tears streamed down his face.

"Another gruesome murder has just been reported today, marking the third case this week, all involving multiple stab wounds. According to authorities, they believe a single perpetrator is behind the killings, but the motive remains unknown. The case has become even more complicated, as the latest victim is the child of Vice Mayor Choi Gwan-Dhuk of Seoul, who is currently running for mayor in the upcoming election. The victim, identified as Choi Tae-Hee, was found murdered inside their residence at 88 Geumseong-ro, Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul."

" Citizens across Seoul are growing increasingly alarmed, prompting officials to tighten security measures and expedite the investigation. The case has also reached the National Security Council with the President ordering his officials to resolve what he described as an embarrassing situation—three gruesome murders in Seoul itself, the capital of South Korea. He called it a major blow and a serious failure on the part of the Seoul Police Department."

Llana frowned as she listened to the news.

Two brutal murders had already been reported three days ago. The first victim was the third son of a chaebol family. The second victim was a cashier at a small store. And now, the daughter of a high-ranking government official.

'What's the reason behind these murders? Is this some kind of power struggle?' Llana silently thought.

If the victims were only the child of a chaebol and the mayor's child, it would be easy to draw a conclusion… but a small-time cashier is involved too.

'Or was that just a distraction to hide their real intention?'

"Miss, you're still too young for this kind of news. You shouldn't be listening to things like this." Uncle Joon appeared out of nowhere and spoke to Llana with a helpless tone.

Llana only smiled sheepishly at him, playfully sticking her tongue out a little.

"All of your belongings have been packed, Miss. Shall we go?" Uncle Joon shook his head fondly and spoke gently.

"What about Dolores? Is she finished?" Llana asked, nodding.

Her parents had asked her to return home and stay there for the time being. They had just arrived from Europe and wanted her somewhere safer until the criminal was caught.

The third victim, the vice mayor's daughter, lived not far from her, which made her family uneasy about her staying here. That's why they wanted her to stay with them.

Her schedule was relatively light for now since the production of her physical albums was not yet complete. TWICE had also been given a week-long break before they began preparing for their debut. After this, her schedule would become extremely hectic.

"Yes, Miss. Miss Casamayor is also ready to leave," Uncle Joon replied.

Llana nodded and turned off the TV.

"Let's go then."
