Chapter 1 - Episode 1 The genesis (part 1)

The Mart Force

(Few had we known that the boundless chains of fate had dragged us to where we were needed.)

The Genesis (Episode 1)

(Under the pressure of love, affection, and happiness, Vin's car rolled along the tarred road, the tyres kissing the ground rhythmically in the dark of the night. It was Ryan's tenth birthday-their son-and they had gone out to celebrate this remarkable day.)

Diana: So, Ryan, make a wish.

Ryan: But there is no cake with candles lit.

Damien: (speaking from the driver's seat, while the others sat behind) Ryan, you don't need candles to make a wish. (He gave a fatherly smile.)

Ryan: Okay, I will.

They waited in silence for a while.

Ryan: I've made it.

Damien: What? Come on, you didn't say anything.

Ryan: There's no need. I said it within. My teacher said that when we make a wish, we should say it inside. (He sighed in a meditative way.)

Diana: Then will you tell Mum?

Ryan: No-

She started tickling him, and they burst into laughter. Suddenly, something unknown, rooted up from the ground, appeared in front of the moving car-slightly taller than the car itself.

Damien, carried away by the loving moment he shared with his family, didn't see it, but fortunately, Diana did.

Diana: (screaming) Watch out!

Damien immediately became alert and swerved the car just in time. As this happened, Ryan's adrenaline surged, and he clutched his mother's hands tightly.

Ryan: Mum, what's going on?

Diana: (though afraid, she tried to calm her son) It's nothing. Dad will take care of it.

This reassured him a little, but unfortunately, another creature appeared. Damien dodged again, weaving through them. As more appeared, the drive turned into a terrifying roller coaster. The atmosphere inside the car changed-the warmth faded, fear thickened, and panic grew rapidly.

Alas, what could mere humans do against such mysterious beings?

The car was struck. It was hurled into the air, spinning violently like a ball rebelling against gravity. As it soared, Diana hugged her son tightly.

"O dearest mother, how sweet art thou."

Amid the chaos, Ryan felt a strange sensation. A speedster with glowing blue stripes suddenly pulled him out of the tumbling car and carried him far away. Dizzy and weak, Ryan couldn't resist. His savior covered his mouth and part of his nose with large hands-rough, yet strangely gentle. A shimmering blue shield enveloped them both.

Immediately, the car crash-landed onto the hard surface. From afar, a massive porthole tore open in the air,

and a figure appeared-riding a gigantic, armoured beast shaped like a bird.

The rider radiated a killing aura. His figure was outstandingly normal at first glance, yet undeniably slaying in presence. He wore a vast dark cloak that resembled an advanced technological warrior suit. He leaped off the beast and landed before Damien.

Damien struggled out of the smoking, upside-down car, drenched in blood and writhing in pain. Using his fists weakly, he crawled forward pathetically.

Damien: Ryan... Diana...

As he finally emerged, he saw the figure standing before him, its murderous aura already suffocating him, burying him alive in fear.

Figure: Damien Vins. (He spoke majestically.) Fate was kind to let our paths cross-especially because of Ryan.

Damien: What do you want from me? (He spoke through pain, anguish, and sorrow.)

Figure: Everything.

His voice thundered with overwhelming power. His hands began to twist the air, forming a colossal dark tornado that swallowed the entire area-except Ryan and his mysterious savior. The figure's eyes turned pitch-black as greenish lightning shelled the raging storm.

This was chaos incarnate.

From afar, Ryan watched helplessly as the process of his parents' demise unfolded before his eyes.

Damien: (within the tornado, screaming in agony) Who are you?!

Figure: Your doom. I am who he is. I am the future to come.

Immediately, the figure leaped back onto his beast. As he turned away, he glanced back and met Ryan's gaze. Damien was already dead-lifeless on the ground-but the figure smirked.

Figure: We will meet again, Ryan Vins. Fate will permit it. I promise.

He entered the dimensional portal. It sealed instantly. The tornado collapsed inward, erupting into a violent dark explosion-and then, silence.

Head intro

TEN YEARS LATER

Listening to the deafening silence and feeling the cold atmospheric breeze brush against his skin, Ryan couldn't help but stare in awe at the emerald beauty before him-Degriss High School. His mind raced with wild imaginations and questions.

What would this school be like? Can I even cope?

Suddenly, a cold touch rested on his shoulder. It was his uncle-the man who had carried his burden for the past ten years, ever since the tragic loss of his parents. He looked at Ryan gently.

Meric: You must be feeling nervous, right? (He gave him a fatherly look.)

Ryan: Yeah... a little. (A faint smile cut across his face.)

Meric: Just kidding. Come on, Ryan. You've got a good coping system in new environments-just like ten years ago. Even though it took a while, I'm sure you can handle it now. (He patted Ryan's back.)

Ryan: (letting out a long sigh) I hope so.

Meric: Just go, kid.

With a light push from his uncle's arm, Ryan moved forward without hesitation and entered the school.

Ryan's POV

The day I entered Degriss High School-the day I set foot through its gates-everything changed.)

(Walking like a new prisoner in a new cell, Ryan was mesmerized 😍 by his surroundings. The sporting fields were drenched in lush green grass, flowers neatly arranged around the gigantic school building, amplifying its beauty until it felt unreal-like being lost in a universe of wonder.

He was snapped back to reality by raised voices-voices that exposed the school's flaws and the contrasting nature of its students. 🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫

Ely: Return the bag, Jeff, or the principal will hear about this.

Jeff: Come on, Ely. What are we-babies?

The three bullies burst into mocking laughter. Jeff tossed Ely's bag to Scott, who flung it to another. Ely spun helplessly in the circle, like a dog being toyed with.

Ryan: (muttering to himself) Of all things... this school is still old-fashioned-which is exactly why I might fit in.

He stepped forward and caught the backpack mid-air. Walking up to Ely, he handed it to him.

Ryan: You dropped your backpack. 🎒🎒🎒🎒

Jeff: Who in the world is this knight in shining armour?

Ryan: (ignoring their taunts) You can have it.

As he stretched it out-

Tom: We give the orders here, porcupine!

Tom lunged at Ryan with a punch. Ryan dodged swiftly, causing Tom to mistakenly hit Scott.

Ryan: I'm very sorry. (mockingly)

What followed was a clash between six individuals. Ryan handled them efficiently and calmly before returning to Ely.

Ryan: Here you go.

(Ely stared at him in fascination.)

Ely: Thanks, friend.

Ryan: No worries, mate. (He smiled gently.)

Ely: I'm Ely. (They shook hands.)

Ryan: I'm Ryan Vins.

Ely: See you around, mate.

Ely jogged off, but Ryan felt an aura of friendship linger between them.

Ryan continued onward, still absorbed by the school's grandeur. He entered the hallway-overflowing with students, lockers lining both sides.

Ryan: What in the world?!

Nervousness seized control of his system. He walked as though the ground might swallow him whole. Lost in thought, he accidentally bumped into someone from behind. Books scattered across the floor.

Snapped back to reality, Ryan bent down immediately to help.

Ryan: I'm very sorry.

Iriel: I should say that too.

As he looked up, Ryan realized the girl before him was nothing short of an angel. Her majestic gaze, delicate eyelashes, graceful eyebrows, premium lips-everything about her radiated elegance.

Once the books were gathered, she stood.

Iriel: Thanks for the help. Bye. (She smiled softly.)

She walked briskly down the corridor as another girl approached her.

Alicia: You must be new here.

Iriel: (warmly) Why do you ask?

Alicia: I can tell-you're not used to the devouring gazes of the boys here.

Iriel: You're right.

Alicia: (smiling) Don't worry. You'll get used to it, Iriel.

Iriel: (surprised) How did you know my name?

Alicia: It was on your book. I saw it when it fell.

Iriel: Oh-what's your name?

Alicia: Alicia Taylor.

Iriel: Nice name.

Alicia: Yours is better.

They chuckled as Alicia led Iriel toward their classroom.

Meanwhile, Ryan was still searching.

Ryan: I'm really dumb. I should've asked Ely... or even that girl.

Though he could ask around, his introverted nature held him back. Instead, he studied the signs above each corridor. After a while, he finally found his class.

With hesitation, he stepped inside. The first person he saw was Mr. Tony.

Mr. Tony: You must be Ryan Vins.

Ryan: (timidly) Yes, sir.

Mr. Tony was six feet tall, with a bushy moustache and sharp glasses he slid down his nose whenever he sensed a rule-breaker.

Mr. Tony: Your uncle told me about you. Come in, kid.

Ryan stepped further into the classroom-twenty-two students seated neatly. Yet the bullying aura radiating from some of them made his stomach churn.

How do low-level students survive in this place?

So this is why Ely...

Mr. Tony: I'm your homeroom teacher, Tony-but you may call me Mr. Tony. I love respect. (He smirked, stroking his moustache.)

Now, introductions. You two. Ladies first-as the saying goes.

Ryan noticed the girl beside Mr. Tony-it was Iriel. She was a freshman too.

Iriel: (nervously) I'm Iriel Les.

Students: (some whispering) Your beauty compensates for your uniform.

Iriel swallowed.

How do I ever get used to this?

Mr. Tony: Now, our gentleman.

Ryan tried to steady himself, but the atmosphere was toxic. His voice betrayed him.

Ryan: I'm... Ryan Vins.

[01/01, 06:48] Gideon: Ryan: Wow! (aghast) That's really a bad bedtime story.

Ely: You're right. (He nodded.) Now I would be the only one-wait, it's both of us. That's great.

Ryan: (Surprised) You are in there?

Ely: Yeah. Don't you understand? You and I-we could unravel this mystery. How about this? (Now he spoke like a sorcerer.)

Ely and Ryan unraveled the mystery of the door that can never be opened in the legendary Degriss.

Ryan:

You must be kidding.

Ely: I'll take that as a yes. (He dragged him in.)

In the aura of friendship, Alicia showed Iriel the books on the shelves. As they approached the door, Alicia was holding an archive book she had been studying when she noticed that the door was slightly open. She walked toward it.

Alicia: (She tapped the door, which gave a screeching sound as it moved.) Why is this place open? (With a questioning look.)

Iriel: (She noticed her reaction and heard what she said.) Why? (Giving the same facial expression.)

Alicia: Yeah. It has been rumored that ghosts haunt this place, and that they were locked up ten years ago.

Iriel: And you believe that? (She chuckled.)

Alicia: I don't know. Maybe I do, maybe I don't-because there's no proof that it's true and no evidence to prove it wrong.

Iriel: You could get proof yourself.

Alicia: How? (Her voice soaked with curiosity.)

Iriel: By going in there. (Pointing at the door.)

Alicia: (Shocked) You must be crazy! Why would I go in there? Am I dumb?

Iriel: That shows you believe. (With a convinced expression.)

Alicia: I don't. (In disagreement.)

Iriel: Then prove that you don't by getting evidence that it's all just a rumor.

Alicia: (Aghast) What?!

Iriel: Come on, Alicia. Follow your instincts.

Alicia: I should? (Iriel nodded.)

Iriel: So, that means what

Alicia: I don't know.

Iriel: I'll take that as a yes. (She dragged her in.)

Ryan and Ely walked through the silence, broken only by their nervous snickers and the fearful ambience that filled the room.

Ely: This place is really creepy.

Ryan: Speaking of creepy, this was your idea. (Coldly.)

Ely: Come on, Ryan. Don't you want to be a hero?

Ryan: Hero? My foot.

They continued through the dark arms of the room, guided by a single traitor-Ryan's cellphone. Suddenly, they saw a figure in front of them. Fear gripped their bodies, and they screamed.

Both: Ah! Ah! Ah!

After regaining their senses, they realized it was only a statue.

Ryan: What is this, It almost killed us," (, touching his chest.)

Ely: I think I know.

(He looked around with the cellphone's light. They saw numerous statues and shelves filled with archaeological materials.)

Wow.

(He began to inspect them and moved forward. Ryan followed, like a disciple behind his master.)

Why would the school be coated in rumors?

Ryan: Ask them yourself. We're getting out of this place right now.

(Sharply.)

(Suddenly, Ely noticed something glowing and floating in the air. It was an orb-like object, glowing red, as if it were about to explode

. Ely became hypnotized by the sight and slowly began to approach it, his gaze fixed. Ryan noticed this.)

Ryan: (fearful

Ryan: (fearful at the sight of the floating orb)

Where are you going, Ely?

(Ely gave no response and continued moving forward.)

Ryan: Ely, are you crazy? You're going toward it!

(If he had known what he was doing, he would have listened to the voice of his friend-but unfortunately, he was completely hypnotized.)

(Meanwhile, Alicia and Iriel walked through the bright darkness of the room, their hearts filled with fear and their bodies shivering.)

Alicia: I told you this was a bad idea.

(In phobia.)

Iriel: (trembling)

I admit that.

(As they walked through the endless darkness, they sighted the orb hanging in the air-the only source of light in the room.)

What the hell is that?

Alicia: Why ask me? I don't know.

(As she said this, her eyeballs turned reddish, the same color as the orb. Slowly, she began walking toward it, hypnotized.)

Iriel: (sensing danger)

What are you doing?

(She received no answer-just like Ryan.)

Iriel: Alicia, don't move near that thing. I think the rumors are true, and I'm saying we leave now!

(But her words fell on deaf ears. Alicia suddenly started to run. Iriel ran after her, and so did Ryan toward Ely-but their speed was useless, and their efforts failed.)

(The hypnotized pair touched the orb. The moment they did, they returned to their senses-but alas, it was too late.)

(The orb exploded,

releasing a blue circular aura that spread across the world. The force lifted them into the air. As they floated, sharp memories of Marthardon struck their minds like piercing headaches.)

Voices: Marthardon... Marthardon...

(After the wave of pain, gravity reclaimed them, slamming them to the ground. A strange zephyr blew around them. The unfamiliar atmosphere and the aura emitted by Marthardon weighed heavily on their souls.)

(They stood up weakly.)

Ely: What the hell happened, Ryan?

(Touching his head in pain. Then he looked beside him and saw Alicia.)

What?! Alicia?! What are you doing here?

Alicia: I should be asking you that, Ely Krueger.

Ely: Nope. We got here first, so you guys just poked your noses in.

Alicia: Says who?

(She pointed at him.)

(While they argued, Ryan and Iriel observed their surroundings. They were no longer in the library-but somewhere strange.)

Ryan: (yelling)

You two should stop this nonsense and focus on where we are!

(Immediately, they straightened up like soldiers caught misbehaving before their commander. They looked around.)

(The sight before them sent shivers down their spines. Their hearts pounded, and adrenaline surged through their bodies.)

Ely: (voice low with fear)

Where are we?

POV (Ryan):

Few had we known that the boundless chains of fate had dragged us to where we were truly needed.

They stared around in fear and surprise. They were standing in a forest of dry trees, their leaves falling off at slow, irregular intervals.

Ely (with phobia written all over his face):

"Where the hell are we-and how did we even get here?"

Alicia (dismissively):

"Why ask me? I don't know."

Ryan (a little calmer):

"I think it was that big orb one of you touched." (He pointed at Ely.)

Alicia:

"You mean me?" (Pointing at herself.)

Ely:

"No, it was me who touched it."They immediately started arguing.

Ryan (highly surprised by their immature behavior, he raised his voice):

"You guys should stop arguing about whose fault it is!"

They straightened up.

Ryan:

"As I was saying, that orb-I think it's what teleported us here."

Iriel:

"You mean that big red thing was a teleportation machine?"

Ely:

"So you're saying that thing brought us here?"

Alicia (her face filled with conviction):

"And it was activated when someone touched it."

Ryan:

"I'm not saying that-I'm just guessing."Alicia:

"Your guess seems right."

Iriel:

"But why would it teleport us here?"

Ely:

"Yeah-of all places, dry woods?" (He gazed around.)

Ryan:

"We'll find out."

Alicia:

"How?"

Ryan (sharply, confused):

"I don't know."

Ely:

"I do." (His face filled with anger and determination.)

"We'll find out by kicking the butts of these trees!"

(He ran up to a tree and began punching it fiercely, as if it were a human. As he struck it repeatedly, Ryan and the others noticed something horrifying-the trees began transforming monstrous robotic beings, their arms morphing into blasters.

Fear gripped them all.)

Ely, however, noticed nothing. He kept punching.)

Ryan (shaking):

"Ely..."

Ely:

"Don't plead with me-I'm not done yet!"

Ryan:

"I'm not pleading. I just hope you don't end up pleading for yourself. Look up."

Ely:

"Why?"

Ryan:

"Just look."

Ely looked up-and beheld his worst nightmare."AH! AH!"

He ran back to the others, panting heavily.

"What are those things?!"

All:

"Why ask us? We don't know!"

The robotic monsters raised their blasters and aimed.

Iriel (nervously hopeful):

"Maybe they're friendly?"

One of them fired. A greenish blast exploded beside them.

They scattered instantly.

Iriel:

"Probably not!"

Ryan (screaming):

"RUN!

They ran in the same direction, racing across what felt like the bridge of death. Blasts exploded behind them as they fled from the faces of doom. Fear tortured their bodies, phobia teaching their legs how to move faster than ever.

Suddenly, Iriel tripped over a rope and fell.

Everyone stopped.

Ryan ran back to her and lifted her up.

Ryan:

"Just stay calm."

Even though he wasn't.

Ely (panicked):

"Be fast! They're going to shoot again!"

Ryan didn't hesitate. He carried Iriel and kept running.

Seeing this, Ryan didn't hesitate. He carried Iriel and kept running.

Seeing this, Ely turned to Alicia.

Ely:

"I'm really sorry."

He picked her up.

Alicia (surprised):

"What are you doing?!"

Ely:

"You're not running fast enough. I don't have a choice."

They pushed forward at full speed. Eventually, they burst out of the jungle into a vast white desert.

Ahead of them stood a gigantic sculpted cave.

They didn't care where they were-those things were still on their trail.

Ely (looking around while running):

"Where are we now?

Ryan:

"I don't want to know. I just want to lose them."

(Pointing ahead) "There's a cave. Maybe we'll find shelter there."

Ely:

"What proof do you have that it's safe?"

Ryan:

"None. But if you want to get toasted, you can stay."

Ely:

"Totally not."

Iriel:

"I can run now."

Ryan:

"No worries."

They rushed into the cave. As Ely and Alicia entered, the robots fired a powerful blast that shook the entrance. Darkness swallowed them whole.

Total darkness.After a moment-

Ely:

"I think we're safe now."

He gently dropped Alicia.

Alicia:

"Thanks for the ride." (She turned on her phone's torchlight.)

"Good morning."

Ryan carefully helped Iriel down.

Ryan:

"There you go."

Iriel:

"Thanks."

Ryan (looking around):

"Where are we?"

Alicia (annoyed):

"In a dark cave."

Ryan:

"I know that already."Ryan:

"I know that already."

Ely (forcing a nervous smile):

"So what now? Do we stay here forever?"

Iriel:

"But how do we get out when we can't see anything?"

Ryan:

"We find clues."

Alicia:

"How? In this darkness?"

Ryan (calmly):

"How many phones do we have?"

Alicia:

"One."

Ely:

"Plus mine. Two."

Ryan:

"Good. We split into two groups."

They did, instinctively knowing who would go with whom.

they scanned the walls, they noticed something strange-the walls weren't rock. They looked like ancient, damaged advanced technology.

Ryan:

"This place isn't normal."

Ely:

"Not just the walls-even the atmosphere."

Suddenly-

Iriel:

"Guys! You need to see this!"

They rushed over.

Ryan:

"What is that?"

Iriel:

"An inscription." (She brushed dust away.)

"It says: THE MART FORCE."

Alicia:

"Does that sound familiar?"

RyanIriel:

"An inscription." (She brushed dust away.)

"It says: THE MART FORCE."

Alicia:

"Does that sound familiar?"

Ryan:

"No... but Mart does. When the orb teleported us, I heard a voice in my head. It said Marthardon."

Iriel's face lit up.

Iriel:

"Then this place must be a military hideout. Those things outside were security units."

Ryan:

"You mean those gigantic monsters?"

She nodded.

Alicia:

"But that still doesn't explain why the red orb broughthere."

Iriel fell silent.

None of

them noticed that Ely had already walked away

Ely:

"Guys, I found something!" (He said excitedly.)

The high spirits in his voice immediately drew them toward him with renewed hope. But when they reached him, Ely stretched his torchlight toward an elevator door embedded between the cave walls. The moment they saw it, their hope dimmed.

Alicia (coldly):

"So you called us over just to show us this?"

Ely (surprised, shining his phone's light over their faces one by one):

"What's with those faces? Come on, guys-this door could be our way out of this mess we got ourselves into."

Iriel (pointing at Ely and Alicia):

"You mean the mess you two got us into."

Alicia:

"We know that already." (She brushed her off.)

Iriel:

"That was just a reminder."

Ryan (raising his hands to calm them):

"Okay, that's enough. Ely, what proof do you have that this thing won't throw us into another heap of trouble?"

Ely:

"Zero point zero zero zero percent. Actually, I have none."

Alicia:

"That's exactly where the real problem lies."

Iriel:

"And not only that-do we even know the passcode for this thing?"

Alicia:

"Does it even have one?"

Iriel:Iriel:

"She's right. If we know how to get in, then we can decide whether it's worth the risk."

Ryan tilted his head, staring at the circular elevator door.

Ryan:

"I think I know how to open this door-if you guys can lend me a hand."

Iriel:

"Why wouldn't we? We want to go home."

Ely:

"Wait. What evidence do you have that you can actually open it?"

Ryan:

"One thing. On my tenth birthday, my dad taught me a lot-part of it was how to open doors like this."

Alicia:

"Your dad must've been a tech genius."

Ryan"Yeah."

Even though the memory reopened a long-nursed wound, Ryan held it in. He walked up to the door and grabbed the large circular wheel, but he couldn't turn it alone.

Ryan:

"I need your help."

They rushed to him and turned the wheel together, rotating it anticlockwise with all their strength. The door screeched loudly and slowly began to open. They stepped back, watching intently.

Cold gas spilled into the cave-thick, but bearable.

Iriel (exhaling):

"Here goes nothing."

They stepped inside.

The room was massive. The walls were different from the outer cave-clearly artificial-thoughdarkness swallowed most of it. Using the two phone lights as guides, they spread out and inspected the room.

Alicia noticed something at the center.

She moved closer as the gas thinned. What she saw made her stop.

It was a rectangular object.

She stepped closer.

A coffin.

Despite the danger, fear didn't stop her. They were already trapped in chaos-any clue was worth investigating. The coffin had a glassy top, while the rest was stone-like.

Alicia:

"Guys, you need to see this."

They hurried over and examined it.Iriel:

"What the hell is that?"

Ryan:

"It looks like a coffin."

Alicia:

"Whose coffin?"

Ely:

"Let's find out." (He rubbed his palms together to clear the condensed gas.)

Ryan stopped him.

Ryan:

"Carefully."

Ely:

"Okay-your move."

Ryan wiped the mist off the glass.

Inside lay a man-his skin unnaturally fresh. He had dark-blond hair, long lashes, closed eyes, and eyebrows dark as night,Above them were three black dots.

Ely:

"Who is this?"

Alicia:

"How would we know?"

Ryan froze suddenly, as if a realization struck him.

Ryan:

"I think this is the owner of this place. The cave was probably built in his memory. Those robots were guarding it. He must've been a soldier-or part of some elite force."

Alicia (unsure):

"You think so?"

Ryan:

"Maybe."

Iriel:"But that still doesn't explain why that big blue orb brought us here... does it?"

Ryan:

"No. It doesn't."

As Ryan spoke, Alicia noticed something carved into the stone body of the coffin.

Alicia:

"Guys-look at this."

She wiped away the fog and reflected her torchlight on it.

"It's an inscription... the same one we saw on the wall outside."

They all stared.

Ryan:

"It says...Mart Force."

Suddenly, the coffin was bathed in yellow light.

The man's eyes snapped open.

Ryan:

"Oh no..."

Ely:

"Oh crap!"

The glass shattered into a million pieces by an unseen force.

Ely:

"RUN!"

They didn't speak-they obeyed their instincts. They ran across the icy stones of fear.

Behind them, the man rose into the air.

But he was no longer human.Dark smoke consumed his face. His eyes grew massive and hollow, filled with murderous aura. A black cloak wrapped around his body, covering everything except his face.

A faceless undead being.

He roared.

A bluish aura flooded the room, lifting the four of them into the air and slamming them against the closed door. They were pinned, gasping, their lungs screaming for air.

The creature flew toward them.

Then it multiplied-four identical copies.

They struck simultaneously.

Claws pierced their chests. Fangs sank into their necks.

They screamed.Agony consumed them.

Ryan jolted awake, gasping for breath, drenched in sweat. His heart thundered as he looked around in terror.

He was in his room.

Ryan:

"What the-"
