You know, I watch a movie - cause I love watching movies - and I came along one called "Sinner"
Hold up, hold up, don't go yet listen a bit. Sinner is all about a preacherboy singing blues and the devil was so pleased that preacherboy's voice brought the devil right to where he was.
Preacherboy's voice brought so many other spirits to that room and that was what the devil was looking for: someone who would bring all his followers in a place and be happy to be among them.
I am not a perfect soul, that I know! And I didn't say you are or have to be! All I'm saying is "Singing"
Do you understand now? Good, let's get right with it then.
I learned from the movie that not all voices are meant to be heard. Hold up, hold up I'm not quite done yet.
Tons of you all have pretty amazing voices and yet you have low views and interactions in your page, so you switched places and kinds of song just to get some more views and interactions in your page.
I'm not saying it's bad, but I won't lie to you and say it's good, because it's not baby dear! It's not.
See, God have a plan for each and everyone of us here on earth, one for you and another for me. We're not the same, God made sure of it! As much different as I am, so are you from another person.
Now, singing is an amazing talent that everyone nowadays wants to be part of. I can sing, but I don't sing as much as you'd think that I should! Does that makes sense?
Okay look, these days, everyone wants to be the big boys or be a part of the big boys while forgetting and putting aside their destiny and purpose just to belong there. It is not good, it's horrible!
Just imagine me that loves to writes, suddenly I stop writing and starts stripping in a club everyone Saturday night and come to church on Sunday to sing 'hallelujah' and dance decently to the Lord in church.
But we're different! Look here, listen to, I'm not judging neither criticizing you, I'm not! All I'm saying is, we all have our purposes as well as different talents, so why in hell will I want to do your purpose for you while ignoring mine?
Do you now see the bigger picture now? Wishes aren't horse, there's a reason to that.
Try me, if you can wish for anything, I mean ANYTHING, what will it be? Don't tell me, tell yourself but if you still want to tell me go right ahead then. But will it have anything to support your calling destiny or purpose or anyway close to God?
Most of the answers will be a big, fat, gigantic NO! If I'm wrong tell me then before getting to this point.
Trust me, I wouldn't either if I was asked this same question.
Singing isn't bad, but to whom and why are you signing, is what that makes the difference. That's the difference between singing and singing!
The first singing is all singing in wrong way with - assumably - right reasons. While the second singing is singing to the right way with - all knowingly - right reasons.
God won't force you to do anything the devil didn't or hadn't! In as much as God respect your preferences and laid down whatever, he won't disrespect you by stepping in your way as you'd do by yourself.
Once in while you need to sit down and look at your life and pounder on it. Ask yourself questions and make sure your answers were what you wanted from the onset. Then lastly, relate those answers to the ones you think that God wants for you and tell yourself the truth.
To be frank, (I've been using this 'to be frank' quite frequently, aren't I? Smiles), I didn't care much about what God wants from me, as much as I care about the cloths I put at the bottom of my wardrobe. It took me a while to checkmate myself and make it right by me and by God. This is one of the ways I saw fit to do so, writing! It's one of the things I can do best! Just write.
So if singing is what you want to do, sing for the right person so your reasons wouldn't need justifications tk be known to the world.
