Chapter 12 - 12 Analysis and simulation training

Everyone inside the castle enjoyed the feast, especially the young men and women. The life energy contained in the flesh and blood of these two knight-level creatures was extremely beneficial to them. Eating this food before practicing breathing techniques could even help them effectively condense their life seeds.

Baron Clow personally dispatched his butler, Basel, who, with Green's consent, placed some of the flesh and blood into the ice cellar. Baron Clow used his knight-level life seed to release some of his power into the ice, sealing the energy contained within the flesh and blood.

When the students in the castle who are able to learn breathing techniques condense their life seeds for the first time, a portion of them will be taken out and fed to them to increase the probability of life seed condensation.

However, Green didn't pay much attention to these things; he was more concerned about Old Green's condition.

"Green, I really don't know how you managed to hunt those two prey. These knight-level creatures possess strength far exceeding that of ordinary creatures. How did you manage to kill them?" Old Green picked up a piece of Baros black pork that the chefs had prepared, examined it carefully, and then asked Green.

"Good luck, good luck. I just happened to catch them fighting, and I just took the opportunity to strike," Green said calmly to Old Green.

Besides, he hadn't lied, Green thought to himself. He just hadn't told the whole story; he had indeed attacked after the two had fought, but the Mountain Bear was in peak condition, and he had managed to kill it without taking any damage.

Old Green could tell that Green didn't want to talk about it, so he didn't press the matter further. Everyone has their own secrets, and it's best not to pry.

[Old Green]

[Strength: 1.7]

[Speed: 2.0]

[Constitution: 0.8~1.5] Special damage, normally maintained at 0.7, can reach 1.5 in combat, and will permanently damage constitution if combat continues.

After Old Green finished eating, Green specifically checked Old Green's condition and found that Old Green's physical condition had improved by 0.1.

[Looks like I'll have to deal with these things more often in the future. Even if it can't bring Old Green back to his peak, it can at least extend his life by a few more years.]

What others would consider a creature that would require at least an elite squad of knight apprentices to hunt, Green could kill with a flick of his wrist.

After dinner, Green returned to his room and began his final training session. Lying on his bed, Green accessed his chip interface. He first glanced at the progress of deciphering the book.

[Crack progress 79%]

[Estimated time to complete the crack: 10 days, 11 hours, 12 minutes, and 23 seconds]

[Is there still more than 10 days? Forget it, there's no rush.] Green stopped paying attention to the progress of cracking the book and instead brought up another project.

[Analysis of the nature of vitality and its relationship with external energy]

Through the analysis of the chip, the vitality and external energy existing in this world are gradually revealed by Green, exposing their true nature.

[Analysis Results of the Source of Vital Energy]

[The essence of vitality comes from an individual's transformation of external energy. This transformative ability begins to rise during adolescence, peaks between the ages of 18 and 25, and then declines with age.]

[It seems that vitality is closely related to human cell division. According to the findings of my previous life, the peak age for an average person is between 18 and 25 years old. After this time, the metabolic capacity of cells begins to decline and gradually worsens until old age arrives.]

This also explains why it's crucial to achieve a breakthrough at 18. At this age, cells possess the greatest potential and their ability to convert external energy is at its peak.

[The energy contained within the flesh and blood of knight-level creatures is essentially life force, only with a higher energy density and less loss during conversion within the human body, providing additional life force during breakthroughs.]

[The essence of life energy is actually the conversion of external energy into something more suitable for the human body. However, the level of energy each person can store varies, which is why breakthroughs can be successful or unsuccessful. Because of insufficient internal capacity, without external energy replenishment during a breakthrough, the probability of failure is almost 100%.]

[Judging from the cases of Okater and Os, the size of this container might be hereditary to some extent; the theory of bloodlines might actually have some use in this world.]

[The current research has reached its limit. My life seed has not yet been activated, and I cannot control the life force within my body. More fundamental research will have to wait.]

Green reviewed the chip analysis and, combining his knowledge from his previous life with his current observations, drew some conclusions.

"Sigh." Lying on the bed, Green couldn't help but sigh. Most people in this world pursue power, but few pursue the essence of things, and they don't even have decent research tools. Green can only rely on the chip to build models in his brain for analysis.

Green had made up his mind to head to the nearby Carlos Alliance as soon as Old Green left. Based on the information he had gathered so far, the Carlos Alliance, with its own coastline, was extremely commercially developed and possessed a certain level of scientific and technological advancement, though not exceptionally advanced; it was certainly better than their current environment.

[Chip, start simulated battle] Grimm silently chanted in his mind.

With a flash of blue light, Green's consciousness entered the chip's simulation scenario.

Slowly opening his eyes, looking at the trees around him and the slightly cool breeze, Green nodded.

[It seems the chip simulation is quite realistic.]

[roar!]

[Huffing and puffing!]

The Baros black boar and the mountain bear suddenly appeared beside Green, looking as if they were about to launch an attack.

Green smiled.

[That's what makes it challenging.]

With his longsword in hand and the real-time analysis and guidance from the chip, Green's combat experience grew rapidly, and he began to develop his own fighting style.
