Chapter 11 - Episode 11

What reaction would an ordinary person show if a bloodied person, stuck in the ceiling in a grotesque shape, spoke to them?

"Y-you're alive?!"

"Uh... what should I do in this situation..."

Naturally, they'd panic first.

"...Tsk! In that state, it's tricky to pull him out by force..."

"...Let's call the other members first."

Then, as they discussed methods,

"Hey, old lady! Think about how to handle that!"

"...Is he really alive?"

"He's alive, that's why I'm saying it!!"

Since the two of them couldn't figure it out, they called a senior who seemed familiar with such matters, and

"W-we need to go a bit further!"

"Bete, one step forward!"

"Why am I at the bottom?!"

Following the senior's instructions, the senior and junior worked together to solve the problem.

"How the hell do you get stuck so perfectly in the ceiling?!"

"Raul! He's in a dangerous state now, so control your strength when pulling him out..."

'Thud!'

"Ugh...?!"

"Hey! I said control your strength!!"

"S-sorry?!"

Of course, the handling wasn't that neat, but

"Um... are you okay?"

As I weakly fell to the floor, an elf with emerald hair and eyes approached me and immediately began chanting a spell,

[...My name is Alv — Luna Aldis]

It must have been a recovery spell, as the pain from the twisted or dislocated parts from being stuck in the ceiling gradually began to fade.

'Crack!'

"What are you doing now..."

I thought it was a good opportunity, so even though I was healed, I manually reset the parts that had gone in weird directions back to normal.

'Snap!'

First, the half-twisted right arm and shoulder,

'Crunch!!'

Next, the left ankle,

'Pop!!'

Then, the left pinky and ring fingers that were bent backward,

'Crack!!!'

"...Gasp!!"

Finally, as I adjusted the slightly twisted neck vertebrae back into place, my breath cleared and the remaining blood refluxed out.

"Phew..."

After setting all the bones and catching my breath, I could see the gazes of people looking at me like some rare creature, and

"...Ah, my thanks are late. Thank you for helping me."

Thinking I might have been rude, I immediately expressed gratitude along with an apology.

"No... is that important right now?"

It seemed that wasn't it.

.

.

.

"To think you were the one who made those bath bombs."

"Ahaha... I never imagined the person who healed me would be the healing princess of Loki Familia..."

With my ability and Lübearia's recovery magic, my body was left without even a small wound.

"Heehee~ So, why did you make the rule that adventurers must buy two potions?"

"Ah, that's because..."

As for why I'm now leaving the dungeon with the Loki Familia group,

.

.

.

"...To summarize your story, 'it was good up to trying to attack from on top of the Minotaur's head, but the push dagger broke, and then the Minotaur jumped toward the ceiling, causing you to get stuck in the ceiling.' Is that about right?"

"...Yes."

"It's a bit hard to say this since it happened because of us, but... that was reckless."

"No, even I think it was a reckless act. It's fair to say that."

I didn't fight by choice, but I learned two things from the fight earlier:

First, even if the body dies and recovers as usual, if the body is stuck somewhere, it takes damage again over time, and

'To think I could gain the upper hand, even if briefly, against a Minotaur with a Level 1 body.'

Second, the combat sense of this personality or protective instinct far exceeded my expectations.

"It was certainly a reckless move, but on the other hand, I have to say it's impressive. A Level 1 adventurer managing to catch a Minotaur off guard, even if just once."

Even the healing princess of Loki Familia said that, so it must indeed be impressive.

"Well... but then I immediately got stuck in the ceiling."

"...Speaking of which"

"Yes?"

"How did you survive that attack? Looking at the twisted body and the amount of blood scattered on the floor, you were already..."

At Lübearia's question, the surrounding gazes began to gather, and

"Ah, that's because..."

I had anticipated such a reaction, so I immediately took out the prepared item from my bag and showed it.

"A broken potion bottle... I see, so that's what it was."

"Don't just understand it yourself; explain a bit."

I had prepared for such a situation by carrying a few empty potion bottles in my bag.

"Look at the bag this man is wearing."

"What's that... it's big for a magic stone pouch?"

"That tiny thing was a bag?!"

'There are many basic backpacks or small eco-bag pouches, but I've rarely seen sling bag-like shapes, so it's understandable...'

For reference, the bag I'm wearing now is a sling bag, a type not commonly used in this world.

"Judging by the bag's design, it seems you can move it front, back, or side when needed. So during the fight with the Minotaur, you probably moved it to your back to avoid hindering your movement."

Lübearia looked at me to confirm if her thoughts were correct, and I nodded in affirmation.

"The moment you hit the ceiling, the bottle in the bag broke, and the potion inside healed you a little..."

"After that, when I came to my senses, the Minotaur was gone, and my body wouldn't move, so I asked the two people below for help."

As I added to her reasoning, everyone nodded as if convinced.

"I see... so that's how it was."

"Yeah! I totally get it!"

"...Yeah."

Except for three people.

"Since the accident happened due to our mistake, we'll take responsibility and safely escort you to your Familia."

"Ah, no, it's okay. My body is fine now, so..."

"...Is that so? Then at least tell us which Familia you belong to. I promise sufficient compensation for this accident."

"Ah, I'm from Miach Familia."

"Huh?!!"

When I mentioned my affiliation, one of the Amazoness girls who had been curiously watching me suddenly approached,

"Are you that kid who worked at the 'Blue Pharmacy'?!"

"Tione, do you know him?"

I was surprised for a moment when the shop name came up, but upon a closer look, it was a face I had seen as a customer before.

"...Huh? That Amazoness customer from back then?"

I thought her face seemed vaguely familiar; it was the customer who bought bath bombs in bulk before.

"Oh! You remember! I almost didn't recognize you with your hair cut short!"

"Well... since you're the one who bought my bath bombs in bulk."

"...Huh?"

"...Yes?"

"You made those bath bombs?!!"

.

.

.

After learning that I was the maker of the bath bombs, Tione asked me all sorts of questions and wouldn't let go, so I ended up being captured? by Tione and forced to leave the dungeon with Loki Familia.

"Umm~! Finally back!"

"Ahaha... well, I'll be going now..."

"Take care, Kai! I'll come buy lots of bath bombs again later!"

At Tione's words about coming again, I suddenly remembered the new type of bath bomb I was researching and subtly set up a task.

"When you come next time, I'll give you a few of the new products I'm researching."

"What?! Kai, you have to keep that promise!!"

Finally alone, I headed to the guild, and

"Here you go..."

"Here, 1200 valis."

"Thank you."

I could find the protagonist who had run away.

"...Hey, white hair."

"...Yes? Me... huh? You?!"

"Yeah, it's me, you little twerp."

"...Yes?"

"First, let me hit you once."

"...Yes?"
